NEST 2022 Application form will be started from the month of February 2022. NEST (National Entrance Secerning Test) is a national level entrance examination which is conducted one time each year. This entrance test is conducted for admission to five-year integrated M.Sc. program in Mathematics, Biology, Physics & Chemistry. NEST 2022 Application Form
In the following steps candidates can get complete details about NEST 2022 Application form:
- Application form will be available through online mode on the website. There will be no other mode for submission of application.
- Candidates will be able to get application form from the month of February 2022.
- Candidates must provide their working email ID & valid mobile number at the time of registration.
- Fill all asked and mandatory fields in the application form including educational, personal etc.
- Candidates must upload properly scanned and cropped recent passport size photograph.
- Incomplete application form will not be accepted in any case, so candidates must fill details carefully.
- Application form will be submitted till last week of April 2022.
- There will be no need to send application form to the NEST office by post.
- Take multiple printouts of the application form and keep safe till the admission procedure.
Application Fee:
- Fee payment will be done through online payment gateway using credit card/ debit card or net banking.

NEST 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the following NEST eligibility criteria before applying for the examination:
- Qualifications: Applying candidates must have passed the class 12th examination from any recognized board in year 2020 or 2021.
- Age Limit: Candidates must have born on or after 1st August 2002.
- Marks Criteria: Candidates must have scored 60% marks (55% marks for reserved category) in their qualifying examination to be eligible for the exam.
- Appearing: Candidates those are appearing 12th class in year 2022 will also be eligible to apply.
NEST 2022 Exam Pattern

- Mode of Exam: Examination will be conducted through online mode or computer based.
- Type of Questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQs) will be asked in the examination.
- Exam Time: Total 3 hours will be provided to complete the exam.

- Sections: Question paper will consist of 4 sections and each section will be of 50 marks.

NEST 2022 Syllabus
Syllabus for NEST 2022 examination will be based on the NCERT/ CBSE science syllabus of class 11th & 12th. Questions will be asked from the subjects i.e., physics, biology, chemistry, mathematics.
Two questions in each section will be asked to check the general scientific knowledge of the students. Candidates must prepare for the exam based on the class 11th and 12th class syllabus.

FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
NEST 2022 Admit Card
Admit card for NEST 2022 will be made available from third week of May 2022. It will be released through online mode on the website. Admit card will not be dispatched to any candidate.
Candidates will be able to download their admit card through login. Candidates must download their admit card before the day of examination.
It will be necessary for the candidates to bring admit card on the exam day, without admit card and ID proof no aspirants will be allowed to enter in the exam hall.
NEST 2022 Answer Key
NEST 2022 Answer key will be released through online mode. Candidates can check their answer key after the examination in second/ third week of June 2022. Candidates can check their answer keys through login credentials i.e., application number or date of birth.
Answer key will be released different for all sets. Authority will also provide facility to challenge answer key. Through the answer key, candidates will be able to assume their marks.
NEST 2022 Cut Off
Cut off will be released by the authorities after the examination. It will be released in the month of June 2022. Candidates can check NEST cut off through online mode. Cut off is the minimum marks which candidates have to obtained in the examination.
Cut off marks will be decided based on the average marks obtained by all the candidates. Candidates must have to obtain equal or above scores to secure the rank.

NEST 2022 Result/ Merit List
NEST 2022 Merit List will be prepared based on the scores obtained by the candidates. Candidates can get their result from last week of June 2022. It will be declared through online mode.
Result will include details i.e., name of the candidate, total scores, obtained scores etc. Candidates can check their result through login details i.e. application number or date of birth.
NEST 2022 Counselling
Candidates who will pass the examination will be able to participate in the counselling. Counselling will be organized through offline mode in the university campuses. It will be started from the month of July/ August 2022. Counselling is organized by the NISER & CSEB.
It will be necessary for the candidates to participate in the counselling. Candidates must have to be physically present in the counselling. Candidates also have to bring original document for verification process.
