JoSAA 2019 Seat Allotment has been released. JoSAA (Joint Seat Allocation Authority) is a counselling authority has been set up by the MHRD. JoSAA organizes the counselling for admission in various courses offered by IITs, NITs, IIITs and other government funded institutions. There is a single centralized counselling procedure for admission in various courses. In this article, we are providing details regarding JoSAA 2019 Registration including choice filling, seat allocation & other procedures.

The counselling process has been organized through online mode. JoSAA counselling 2019 is conducted in various rounds as per the availability of seats.
There are various steps are included in counselling process, i.e. registration, choice filling, seat allocation, reporting to the allotted college, etc.
There is no fees charged for the registration and choice filling. Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee of Rs. 15,000/- for SC, ST, GEN-PwD, OBC-NCL-PwD, SC-PwD or ST-PwD candidates and Rs. 30,000/- for other candidates.

JoSAA 2019 Counselling Procedure
The detailed counselling procedure of JoSAA 2019 is mentioned below:
Registration & Choice Filling:
- Candidates have to click on the official link.
- They must login with their JEE Main roll number and password.
- Candidates now fill and lock their choices for admission.
- If candidates do NOT lock their choices, last saved choices will be locked automatically.
Provisional Seat Offer & Confirmation:
- Once the seat is allocated to candidates, they have to take printout of the provisional seat allocation letter and e-challan.
- Candidates have to pay the seat acceptance fee through e-challan or net banking.
Document Verification:
- Candidates are required to appear at the reporting centre for document verification and seat acceptance.
- Candidates have to bring the mandatory documents along with the photocopies for the verification process.
- The seat will be confirmed after the verification of documents and payment of seat acceptance.
Reporting at Allotted Institutions:
- After the seat confirmation, candidates have to report to the allotted college or institution.
- Candidates have to complete all the admission formalities, to get the admission confirmed.
- Candidates must report to the allotted college, in the given time frame.

The list of documents required for the verification process is given below:
- Provisional seat allotment letter
- JEE Main 2019 admit card & score card
- Photo ID card
- DOB proof
- 12th class certificates
- Medical certificate
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- OCI certificate or PIO card (if applicable)
- Registration cum locked choices for seat allotment
- Three passport size photograph (same as application form)
