CENTAC 2019 Draft Merit list has been released for UG courses. Centralised Admission Committee, Pondicherry will organize CENTAC to provide admission in various engineering and medical programmes. There will be no entrance exam and admission will be given on the basis of marks secured in 12th and Scores of JEE Main. CENTAC 2019 Counselling has been organized by the board after the release of the merit list. As per the rank obtained in the merit list, candidates will be invited for the counselling process. The counselling will be organized in offline mode.
Candidates can also check the cut off marks to participate in the counselling.
To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to pay the counseling fee and make choice of course and college for admission. Also, candidates have to download allotment letter and report to the allotted center as per the time and date mentioned in it.
CENTAC 2019 Counselling Dates
Below, we have provided tentative dates for the release of CENTAC 2019 Merit list, Starting of Counselling process:

CENTAC 2019 Counselling Procedure
The complete procedure of CENTAC 2019 Counselling is described below:
Selection of Candidates
Candidates will be first selected for the counselling process. Only those candidates whose name will appear in the merit list will be able to participate in the counselling process. On the basis of marks secured by the candidates in the 12th level exams selection will be done.
Paying Counselling fee
To participate in the counselling process, candidates have to pay the counselling fee. The counselling fee of Rs. 750 (Rs. 350 for ST/SC) can be paid by the candidates in the form of cash or Demand draft drawn in favour of – The Convenor, CENTAC, payable at Puducherry.
Choice Filling
After paying the counselling fee successfully, candidates have to make choice of preferred college/institution and course. After choosing the institution and course candidates have to lock the choices.
Downloading of Counselling letter
Candidates have to download their counselling call letter from the website. The counselling letter will mention the details of date, time and venue allotted to the candidates for further admission process. Candidates have to take the counseling letter with them and report at the respective institution.
Seat Allotment
Candidates will be allotted seats as per the choice filled and merit order. In case a candidate fails to report at the venue within the time date allotted, he/she will not be allotted seat for admission. Also candidates have to carry their original as well as photocopies of their required documents for the certificate verification process.

- 10th and 12th level Marksheet and Pass certificate
- Residence Certificate
- Counselling Call letter
- Photocopy of CENTAC 2019 Application form
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Photo id proof
- Scorecard/Rank card
CENTAC 2019 Counselling will be conducted after the selection of candidates in the merit list. Candidates in the counselling process will be able to choose their preferred course and college. Seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their filled choices and meritorder.
