JEST 2021 Exam Date has been released. Joint Entrance Screening Test (JEST) is authorized as a National Eligibility Test (NET) by the Science & Engineering Research Board (SERB). It is organized to offer admission in Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. courses. JEST will be conducted once in a year. The exam is conducted for two subjects namely, theoretical computer science/ neuroscience/ Computational Biology & Physics. JEST 2021 Exam Schedule
Candidates those wishing to apply in JEST 2021 will fill their application form online. The filling and submission of JEST 2021 application form has been started from 11th January 2021. The last date to fill and submit the online application form is till 19th February 2021.
JEST 2021 Admit card can be downloaded through online mode from the website. Candidates will be required to download fresh admit card whenever new dates will be announced. Admit cards will be released in June 2021. The written exam of the JEST will be conducted through offline mode in July 2021.

JEST 2021 Application Form

Application fee can be paid through online mode using debit card, credit card or net banking. Application fee for JEST 2021 is Rs. 400 for general category (Rs. 200 for SC/ ST/ Female category candidates). ST/SC Females are exempted to pay the fee.
JEST 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates who want to apply for examination must go through the complete JEST eligibility criteria:
- For Ph.D. in Theoretical Computer Science at IMSc: Candidates must have completed M.Sc. /M. E. / M.Tech in Mathematics and Physics.
- For Ph. D Physics: Candidates must pass M.Sc. degree in physics from any recognized university/ institute.
- For Integrated Ph.D. in Computational Biology at IIMCs: Candidates must have passed MCA/ M. Tech/ M.E. / M.Sc. in Science or in any discipline with good Mathematics skill and good knowledge in Biological subjects
