IIST 2021 Rank List of shortlisted candidates for interview for PG has been released. Admission will be administrated by the Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology. Admission is offered in space sciences, space technology and space applications. No entrance examination will be conducted by the university to offer admission in UG and PG courses. IIST 2021 Rank List of shortlisted candidates for interview for PG has been released. It is releasing on 2nd July 2021 for non interview branches. Check here for rank list details.

IIST Admission 2021 Application Form
Here we have given complete details about IIST 2021 application form:
- Application form has been released through online mode.
- Candidates can fill their application form from first of June 2021 for UG courses and from 21st May 2021 for PG courses.
- Fill details including educational, personal, address and etc. in the application form.
- Upload passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- Application fee can be filled till third week of June 2021 for UG and till 16th June 2021 for PG courses.
- Take printout of the application form and keep it secure for future references.

- Fee can not be refundable in any circumstances.

IIST Admission Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must go through IIST Admission 2021 eligibility criteria before filling application form:
- Nationality: Candidates must be an Indian citizen.
For UG Courses:
- Age Limit: Candidates must be born on or after 1st October 1996 and reserved category candidates must be born on or after 1st October 1991.
- Qualification: Candidates must pass 10th and 12th class from any recognized board.
- Marks: Candidates must pass their qualifying exam with 75% (65%for SC/ ST category) of aggregate.
- Subjects: Candidates must have passed with physics, chemistry and mathematics subjects.
- Score Card: Candidates must have JEE Advanced 2021 score card with minimum qualifying marks.
For PG Courses:
- Age Limit: Age limit of candidates must be maximum 32 years as on 16th June 2021. There will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates.
- Qualification: Candidates must have B.Tech/ B.E. / M.Sc. degree from any recognized.
- Marks Criteria: Candidates must have passed their qualifying examination with 60% (55% for reserved category candidates) marks.
- Score Card: Candidates must have score card of GATE, UGC NET/ JEST.
FAQs (Frequently Asked Questions)
IIST Admission 2021 Rank List
IIST Admission rank list will be published in the third week of June 2021 for UG courses and 28th July 2021 for PG courses. Rank list will be released through online mode.
For UG courses rank list will be prepared based on the marks of JEE Advanced exam and based on GATE/ UGC NET/ JEST score for PG courses. Candidates are advised to take printout of the rank card for other preferences.
Based on the rank list candidates will be called for interview rounds. Interview will be held for PG courses only.
IIST Admission 2021 Cut Off
IIST Admission cut off will be released through online mode. Candidates must have secured minimum cut off marks to be eligible for admission. Candidates can check cut off marks on the website.
Cut off will be released based on rank, category, performance in interview and availability of seats etc. After releasing of cut off marks candidates will be called for counselling.
IIST Admission 2021 Counselling
IIST Admission counselling will be organized after publication of rank list. Counselling will be conducted only through offline mode. Candidates will have to report in the counselling by person.
Counselling will be organized in various steps like seat allotment, document verification and etc. For PG courses candidates will have to attend interview or written test. Without verification of documents seats will not be allotted to the candidates.
