Through this candidates will know about their eligibility for the admission. University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) is a university level entrance exam. Candidates will get admission in various specializations of engineering through this exam. UPESEAT 2021 Cut Off
Candidates will be able to check the UPESEAT cut off marks through online mode. There are various factors on the basis on which the authority will declare the cut off marks. The cut off marks are the minimum marks which should be scored by the candidate to become eligible for the counselling.
So, it is necessary to score cut off marks for the admission. On the basis of cut off marks, the candidates will be selected for the admission followed by the counselling. The factors on which the cut off will be prepared are:
- Total numbers of candidate appeared in the exam.
- Highest marks obtained by the candidate.
- Numbers of available seats.
- Difficulty level of exam.
- Pass proportion of the candidates.
UPESEAT Result 2021 will be declared by the university in last week of June 2021. The results will not be sent by the university on the candidates registered address by post. It will be available through online mode.
UPESEAT counselling 2021 will be commenced in the month of July 2021. UPES will conduct the centralized counselling for admission in B.Tech programmes. The counselling will be organized through offline mode.
Previous Year Cut Off
There are two modes to apply in the university, i.e., exam pathway and non-exam pathway. 80% seats will be allotted through exam pathway and 20% seats will be allotted through a non-exam pathway. Candidates can check the marks obtained in the qualifying exam for admission in the UPES B.Tech course.
- Candidates those will apply through UPESEAT examination should have 60% aggregate marks in 12th or equivalent exam or 60% in PCM subject.
- Candidates those will apply through Intermediate merit basis should score 80% marks in 12th or equivalent exam or 80% in PCM.
- Candidates those will apply through JEE Mains score should score 70% or above in the exam.
UPESEAT 2021 Rank List
Based on the application and JEE Main marks filled by the candidates in the application form, the authority will release the JEE Main Merit ranking. As per the ranking obtained by the candidates, they will be called for the counselling.
Candidates will be able to check the merit list from the website. Candidates will have to use their UPES application form number and remain Id or Mobile number to check the result.
UPESEAT 2021 Result
The university will declare the result online on the website. Candidates those who have successfully appeared in the entrance exam will be able to check their results. The result will be not sent by the university to the any candidate.
In the result, candidates will be able to check their sectional as well as overall marks. The university will also mention the category-wise rank in the candidate’s result card.
