- Login the portal by entering email-id, date of birth and application form number.
- Then, click on “submit” button.
- NID DAT 2021 answer key will be displayed on the screen.
- Candidates can download the provisional answer key for future reference.
Challenging the NID Answer Key
The authority will provide an opportunity to challenge the NID 2021 Answer Key. Details regarding answer key challenge are given below:
- If candidates find any discrepancy in the NID 2021 provisional answer key they can challenge it.
- Candidates can challenge the answers through online mode only by entering their login credentials/registered email Id.
- Candidates can challenge answer to maximum three questions.
- Separate challenge will be submitted separately for each question with complete solved answer/justification.
- Candidates will have to pay Rs 1000 for challenging each question.
- The fee will be refunded to candidates if the challenge found legitimate by the authority.
- If the challenge is found legitimate, candidates who have attempted that questions will be awarded marks.

Marking Scheme
Following below is the marking scheme for NID DAT 2021 prelim exam.
- Marking scheme for different questions varies in NID DAT prelim exam.
- Marks comprises of 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 respectively.
- There will be no negative marking.

The DAT prelims result for M.Des will be made available in May 2021 (for B.Des/ GDPD). Candidates who will clear the NID exam will be able to get their NID result 2021.
Candidates can check it through online mode only by entering their logging credentials. Candidates who will qualify the prelim exam will have to appear for Mains exam.
The result will mention qualifying status of the candidates along with score obtained in the prelim exam. After the commencement of the main exam, merit list will be prepared by the authority.
