National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is a national level entrance exam conducted by the NISER, Bhubaneshwar and UM-DAE CEBS Mumbai jointly. NEST is a compulsory entrance exam for candidates seeking admission in Integrated MSc Program at NISER, Bhubaneswar and UM-DAE CEBS, Mumbai. Through this exam qualified candidates will get admission in Integrated MSc Program of both participating institutions. NEST 2022 Application Form

- NEST 2022 Application Form will be released by the authority through online mode.
- Candidates will be able to fill the application form from fourth week of February 2022 to last week of April 2022.
- Application form will be released for eligible candidates only, so candidates are advised to confirm their eligibility before applying.
- Candidates are advised to use valid and working Email ID and Phone Number as all the communication will be done through provided information.
- Candidates should fill the application form before the last date of submission as no candidates will be allowed to submit the application form after last date.
- Candidates are advised to keep the printout of filled application form and fee receipt for future references.
Application Fee:
NEST 2022 Application Form Fee can be submitted through online mode only. Candidates can use Credit Card, Debit Card and Net Banking for transaction of Application form fee.

NEST Eligibility Criteria
Following is complete NEST eligibility norms candidates must satisfy to be eligible for the exam:
- Qualifying: Candidates should have passed 10+2 Intermediate or its equivalent examination from any recognized board or university.
- Subject: Candidates should have Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Mathematics as mandatory subject in the qualifying examination.
- Percentage: Candidates should have obtained minimum 60% marks (55% for reserved category) candidates to be eligible.
- Age Limit: Category must be born on or after 1st August 2002 to be eligible for NEST. 5 years of relaxation will be given to SC/ ST category candidates.
NEST 2022 Exam Pattern
Following is the complete NEST pattern for the examination:
- Mode of Examination: NEST 2022 examination will be a Computer-Based Test (CBT/online exam).
- Questions Type: Question Paper will consist of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ).
- Time Duration: 3 hours and 30 Minutes will be given to candidates for completing the examination.
- Total marks: The questions will be consist of total 200 marks.
- Sections: There will be total 4 sections which includes subjects i.e. physics, chemistry, mathematics and biology.

NEST 2022 Syllabus

FAQs (Frequently Asked Question)
NEST 2022 Admit Card
Admit Card will be the important document candidates will have to carry while appearing in the exam. Authority will release the admit card after few weeks from the declaration of result. Candidates will be able to download the admit card from the 3rd week of May 2022 through online mode.
The NEST admit card will be released for successfully registered candidates only. Registered candidates will be able to download their admit card by login into the website of exam conducting authority.
NEST 2022 Answer Key
Answer Key will be released by the exam conducting authority after few days from the completion of examination. Candidates will be able to check their answer key through the website of exam conducting authority.
The answer key will contain the correct answer of every asked question in the examination. With the NEST 2022 Answer Key, candidates will be able to predict their marks even before the declaration of result.
NEST 2022 Cut Off
Cut off will be the minimum marks set by the participating institution separately. Candidates will have to score more than the prescribed cut off marks to be eligible to the further admission procedure.
Authority will release the category wise cut off marks for every category. Candidates will have to score the marks in NEST 2022 Examination as per the category. On the basis of Cut off Marks authority will prepare the merit list for every qualified candidates.
NEST 2022 Result
Authority will release the NEST 2022 result for every exam participated candidates individually though online mode. Candidates will be able to check their from last week of June 2022 through the website of exam conducting authority.
The NEST Result 2022 will not be sent to any candidates individually through by post of any other offline mode. Candidates will have to login into the website of authority for checking their result.
Candidates should keep their result safe till the completion of admission procedure as result could be required at the time of counselling.
NEST 2022 Counselling
The counselling will be conducted by the NISER and UM-DAE-CBS separately through online mode. Candidates will have to participate in the counselling procedure for admission in offered programs at NISER and UM-DAE-CBS campuses.
Authority will conduct the counselling procedure in various rounds on the basis of number of vacant seats after each round of counselling. Authority will only allow the qualified candidates of the examination for participating in the counselling process.
Candidates will also have to report at the prescribed counselling centre with following documents:
