IISER 2021 Syllabus has been released. Admission will be done through three channels SCB, KVPY, and on the basis of JEE Advanced exam. It is a national level test which will be organized by the Indian Institutes of Science Education & research (IISER). Through IISER SCB Aptitude test, admission will be offered in 5 year dual degree programme of BS-MS. SCB will be the only stream through which candidates will get admission on the basis of entrance test. Candidates will be offered admission into seven IISER institutions situated in Tirupati, Mohali, Bhopal, Berhampur, Kolkata, Thiruvananthapuram, and Pune. IISER Admission 2021 Application Form
Candidates must go through following details regarding IISER Admission 2021 Application Form:
- IISER 2021 Application Form for all channels will be made available via online mode.
- For each channel, application form will get released on different dates.
- Candidates will be allowed to apply for all three channels.
- Students will be required to fill their institution choices among all seven IISER in the application form.
- During registration, candidates will have to upload scanned image of passport size photograph & signature in the prescribed format.
- It will also be mandatory for all candidates to provide valid/ working email ID & phone number in the application form.
- At last, candidates are advised to take printout of filled in application form for further use.
Application Fee:
- Candidates will be able to submit the application fee via online mode.
- The mode of payment includes credit card, debit card, or net banking.
- General category candidates will have to submit Rs. 2000/-.
- The application fee for SC/ ST & Kashmiri Migrants (KM) will be Rs. 1000/-.
IISER Admission 2021 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must go through following details regarding IISER Admission Eligibility Criteria:
- Nationality: Indian citizen, Person of Indian Origin (PIO), and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) candidates will be eligible for the examination.
- For KVPY Channel, candidates must have a valid KVPY fellowship commencing for year 2021-2022. It will be also mandatory for candidates to meet cut-off criteria which will be applicable.
- For JEE Advanced Channel, general category candidates must qualify JEE Advanced 2021 & will have to obtain rank within 10000 in Common Rank List (CRL). For reserved category, the category rank will be considered.
- For SCB Channel, candidates must be either qualified or appearing in 12th with Science as mandatory subject to be eligible for the examination.
- SCB (Cut-off) – The Cut-off percentage will be prescribed by the authority & must be obtained in order to be eligible.
- Candidates applying through SCB Channel will have to appear in IISER Aptitude Test 2021.
IISER Admission 2021 Exam Pattern
Candidates must go through following details regarding IISER Admission 2021 Exam Pattern:
- Exam Mode: IISER 2021 will be organized via online (computer-based) mode.
- Number of Questions: Each subject will consist of 15 questions.
- Total Questions: There will be total 60 questions in the question paper.
- Duration: Candidates will get 3 hours to complete the examination.
- Marking Scheme: Each correct answer will be of 3 marks.
- Negative marking: 1 mark will get deduct for every wrong answer.

IISER Admission 2021 Syllabus
The syllabus for IISER admission will consist of topics from NCERT syllabus of class 11th & 12th. The topics will be from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology (PCMB) subjects.
- Physics: It will consist of topics as Kinematics, Motion of systems of particles & rigid body, Oscillations, waves, optics, atoms, and much more.
- Chemistry: The topics under chemistry will be surface chemistry, p-block elements, solid state, electrochemistry, biomolecules, equilibrium, etc.
- Mathematics: It will include topics as relations & functions, straight lines, matrices, vectors, three dimensional geometry, integrals, and much more.
- Biology: Topics will be Human Physiology, plant physiology, reproductions, ecology & environment, and much more.

IISER Admission 2021 Admit Card
IISER Admission 2021 Admit Card will be made available in the month of June 2021 for SCB channel test. It will be released on website via online mode. Candidates will have to enter their login credentials to download the hall ticket.
The admit card will contain all the details like candidates name, roll number, exam center, and many other exam instructions. It will be mandatory for all candidates to carry admit card at the examination center. Without admit card & valid ID proof, no candidates will be allowed to sit for the examination.
IISER Admission 2021 Answer Key
The authority will release SCB channel answer key in the first week of June 2021. Candidates will be able to download IISER 2021 Answer Key on website via online mode. With the help of answer key, candidates will be able to assume their marks even before the result declaration.
The answer key will contain answer of all the questions asked in the question paper. Candidates will have to use their registered ID & password to check their answer key.
IISER Admission 2021 Cut-off
The authority will release IISER 2021 cut-off via online mode. Cut-off will be the minimum marks candidates will have to score to qualify the examination. It depends on various factors such as no. of candidates, difficulty level of exam, previous year cut-off trends and various other factors.

IISER Admission 2021 Result
Candidates will be able to download IISER 2021 Result in July 2021. It will be published via online mode. To check the scorecard, candidates will have to enter roll number, registered ID & password.
Candidates who will appear for SCB test will be able to check their result. Result will contain all the details like candidates name, roll number, their marks scored in each subject, and total marks.
IISER Admission 2021 Counselling
The counselling session for IISER 2021 will be organized in the month of July for all three channels. The authority will conduct separate web based counselling for all three channels. Seats will be given to candidates on the reservation policy & various other factors.
It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling session. Candidates will have to bring following documents at the time of counselling:
