JIPMER PG 2021 Online Seat Allocation (1st round) has been released on 22nd December 2020 for MD/ MS through INI CET. Counselling has been started from 18th December 2020 for DM/ M.Ch courses. JIPMER PG is a national level entrance exam conducted to offer admission into the PG courses like MD/ MS & DM/ M.Ch courses. Through this entrance exam, admission will be provided to the candidates in the JIPMER campuses at Puducherry and Karaikal. JIPMER PG 2021 Counselling/ Document Verification has been started from 21st December 2020 for DM/ M.Ch courses. Click here for notice.
JIPMER PG 2021 Counselling will be organised through online mode. The counselling process will be organised at various campuses of JIPMER.
The counselling process comprises of various steps like registration, biometric finger print verification, photo/image verification, documents verification, seat allotment etc. Candidates can participate in the counselling as per their rank.

Counselling Procedure
The counselling procedure of JIPMER PG 2021 will be organised in various rounds via offline mode. Candidates are advised to be present at the allotted venue on the prescribed date and time. The various rounds conducted for counselling are:
Round I
The first round of counselling will be started from December 2020 for MD/MS programmes. For the M.Ch/DM programs, the counselling rounds will be started from 18th December 2020. In the first round, list of candidates who will be shortlisted have to be physically present/ report at the institution for MD/ MS.
Round II
The second round of counselling will be started from January 2021. In this round, the authority will release the list of course wise vacant seats left after the first counselling. Shortlisted ranks for the 2nd counselling process will be released by the board.
Final Counselling
After the second counselling, the remaining vacant seats left will be allotted to the remaining candidates in the order. The third round counselling will be started from January 2021. Candidates, who did not make a choice, can also participate in this round.
Open Counselling
An open counselling will be held by the authority, if in case the seats still remains vacant after all rounds of counselling. The open round of counselling will be started through online mode. The authority will release a list of eligible candidates and number of vacancies for final counselling.
Documents required for Counselling/ Admission
Candidates who will be selected for the counselling rounds must have to be present at the allotted venue with certain important documents. Candidates have to submit the original as well as the attested photocopies of their documents. The list of documents is provided below:
