CMAT 2021 Eligibility is very necessary to fulfill in order to appear in the exam. Only eligible candidates can participate in the exam and fill the application form. CMAT 2021 Eligibility
A candidate must go through the eligibility norms before applying for the CMAT 2021 examinations as if he/she fails to satisfy the norms then they will not be considered for admission by the authorities. The candidate must fulfill eligibility rules related to his/her nationality, Academic qualifications and age.
A candidate also has to go through the eligibility criteria of the 3 subjects offered through the CMAT examinations as all the 3 have different requirements. Candidates are also instructed that in case any candidate will not satisfy the given eligibilities they will not be considered for the CMAT 2021 exam.
Nationality of the Candidate
- This segment represents the eligibility norms that are associated with the nationality of the applying candidates. The candidate is required to be a citizen of India.
Academic Qualifications
- The applying candidate must have a bachelor’s degree of at least 3 years duration from any discipline.
- The candidate’s must have secured at least 50% marks (45% in case of S.C/S.T candidates).
- Final year candidates of a bachelor’s program can also apply for CMAT exams given they complete their bachelor’s program with the minimum marks required at the time of admission.
Age
- There is no maximum or minimum age for applying into CMAT 2021 examination.
Subject Specific Eligibility Norms
These are the specific subject requirement to get admission in the given particular course.
MBA/PGDM:
- The candidate must have completed a bachelor’s degree recognized by state/central government.
- The bachelor’s degree must be of minimum 3 year duration.
- The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in the bachelor’s degree.
Executive PGDM:
- The candidate must have completed a bachelor’s degree recognized by state/central government.
- The bachelor’s degree must be of minimum 3 year duration.
- The candidate must have at least 5 years of work experience.
- The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in the bachelor’s degree.
PGCM:
- The candidate must have completed a bachelor’s degree recognized by state/central government.
- The bachelor’s degree must be of minimum 3 year duration.
- The candidate must have secured at least 50% marks (45% in case of SC/ST candidates) in the bachelor’s degree.
CMAT 2021 Registration
CMAT 2021 registration has been started from 23rd December 2020. Candidates can fill the form through online mode. The last date to submit the application form is 22nd January 2021.
From 2020 onwards CMAT exam is conducted by NTA (National Testing Agency). CMAT exam is conducted to get admission in PGDM, MBA and similar, PGCM and Executive PGDM programmes.
The candidates have to first check the eligibility norms of the CMAT entrance exams before applying for online application form.
If the authorities find out any discrepancy related to the candidate’s eligibility status then the admission process will be cancelled at once with immediate effect.
