Admission Procedure
To get admission in the law degree colleges, candidates can appear in the entrance exam of a CLAT 2020. It is the national law entrance exam through which candidates can get admission in the UG, PG and Doctoral level law programmes. The admission will be provided as per the marks obtained by the applying candidate in the entrance exam.
Entrance Exams
On the basis of national level and the university level entrance test, candidates will be selected for admissions into law colleges/universities. Some colleges offered the direct admission into law courses on the basis of the qualifying marks of the candidate.
The merit will prepare on the basis of performance of the candidate in qualifying examination. No state level law entrance test is organized for granting admission. Besides this, some law schools consider CLAT rank card for admission.

Interested candidates can apply only on fulfilling all the eligibility criteria given below.
- No maximum age limit to apply in CLAT.
- Candidate should clear the 12th or its equivalent exam from a recognized board with 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) for admission in UG course.
- Candidates should posses the LL.B or equivalent degree from any recognized institution/university for admission in LL.M course.
- Candidates those are studying in their final year of graduation degree are also eligible to apply.
Selection Procedure
Candidates will be shortlisted for counselling in law courses on the basis of merit prepared by the respective authority. The seats will be allotted followed by the counselling procedure.
Merit list is prepared on the basis of candidate’s performance in qualifying examination. The seats will be allotted to the candidates those will verify their original documents and eligible as per the eligibility criteria.
According to the availability of seats in the participated colleges the seats will be allotted to the candidates on the basis of their ranks and filled choices. Candidates can get admission in the allotted college with the provisional seat allotment letter.
