JKCET 2020 Merit List (Final) has been released. Jammu & Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOPEE) is the conducting body of JKCET. It is a state level entrance exam to get admission in various specializations of engineering professional degree course. Through Jammu & Kashmir Common Entrance Test (JKCET), candidates can get admission in the engineering institutions of J&K only. JKCET result 2020 can be checked through online mode. The result is made available on the official website. Candidates can check their total score and overall rank obtained by them in the result.
The answer key will be published along with the releasing of the result. Candidates can check the results directly from the website.
There is need of any login credentials to check the result. Result has been declared in the form of merit list.
JKCET Counselling 2020 is organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOSE). It will be started from September 2020.
JKCET Result Date 2020
The board has provide the JKCET result 2020 through online mode only. It has been declared on 12th September 2020. The result is also publish in two local dailies.
There is no entrance exam for JKCET 2020 due to covid-19.
With the help of answer key candidates can check their numbers of correct or incorrect answers. Participating in the counselling will be started from September 2020.
How to Check Result
Candidates can check their results by following the process given below:
- Visit the official website link (link is given above).
- Click on the ‘Click here’ link.
- The result will be displayed in pdf format.
- Result will display the candidates name and roll number.
- Check your total marks and secured rank.
- Download the pdf and take the printout for further use.
Determination of Merit
The merit list for each offered courses is prepared on the basis of inter-se-merit & eligibility of the candidates. Merit list is provided separately for open merit category and reserved category.
It is prepared in descending order for the Open Merit Category and similarly for each Reserved Category separately.
Candidates have to score the minimum qualifying marks in the entrance exam prescribed by the Jammu & Kashmir reservation rules.
In case of equal marks scored by the two candidates, inter-se-merit is prepared by following ways:
- Marks obtained in Mathematics component of the Entrance test.
- Marks obtained in Physics component of the Entrance test, if marks obtained in Mathematics component are equal.
- Marks obtained in Chemistry component of the Entrance test if marks obtained in Mathematics and Physics components are equal.
- Candidate older in age if marks obtained in Math, Physics and Chemistry are same.
The seats are allotted to the candidates on the filled course preference. Candidates have to present in person on the counselling day along with all original documents. Candidates have to pay the counselling fee also.
