JKCET 2020 Counselling has been started from 12th October 2020. It will be organized by the Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations (JKBOSE). The authority will organize a state level examination to get admission into various engineering courses. The exam is also known as JKCET (Jammu and Kashmir Common Entrance Test). JKCET Counselling 2020 – Counselling Started
JKCET 2020 Physical Counselling has been started from 12th October 2020 at BOPEE offices Jammu/Srinagar through Video Conferencing.
The counselling will be started from 12th October 2020. Candidates will have to fill online preference form through the official website. The actual filling of preferences will get started from October 2020. Candidates must select their most preferred choices first along with the college of preferences.
Before submitting the preferences, candidates will have to submit the online fee of Rs. 1200. The fee will be paid through credit card/debit card/e-banking. Candidates will have to fill the forms by entering their “Application Number”, “CET Marks”, “CET Roll Number”, “Rank”, “Date of Birth”, etc. After a few days of the choice filling, the authority will release the seat allotment list of the candidates who get a seat in various colleges of J & K. The list will be comprised of candidates roll number, name, rank, allotted discipline & institution.

JKCET Counselling 2020 Procedure

Certificates Verification:
First, candidates will have to verify their original documents/certificates along with self-attested photocopies in the verification centre as per document verification schedule. Candidates will be called for the verification round, according to the rank.
Online Preference Form Filling:
After the certificate verification process, candidates will have to fill their choices of colleges/courses as per their preferences. Candidates will be allowed to organize mock exercise (rehearsal) of filling up of the preferences to get a clear idea with regard to their choices. The actual filling up of the preference forms will get start from October 2020. Candidates will have to deposit a Fee of Rs. 1200 through online mode. After submission of fee, the preference form of the candidate will be locked. Candidates modify their choices till the lock the preferences. After that, no modification will be done.
Seat Allotment:
Candidates will be informed through online mode about allotment of seats. The university will release a list of selected candidates for admission. The seat will be filled on the basis of merit-cum-preferences with reservation rule as applicable.
Reporting:
Candidates will report directly to the allotted college/institution for admission on or before the last date. Candidates will have to bring all their relevant documents in original at the time of admission. Candidate’s documents will be verified by the concerned Heads of the Institutions. The admission of the candidates will be provisional & liable to be cancelled in case of any false information.
