Counselling Procedure
The counselling procedure of JIPMER PG 2020 is organised in various rounds via offline mode. Candidates are advised to be present at the allotted venue on the prescribed date and time. The various rounds conducted for counselling are:
Round I
The first round of counselling has been started from 22nd July 2020 for MD/MS programmes. For the M.Ch/DM programs, the counselling rounds has begins from 22nd July 2020. In the first round, list of candidates who have been shortlisted have to be physically present/ report at the institution has been released for MD/ MS.
Round II
The second round of counselling has been started from 26th August 2020. In this round, the authority has released the list of course wise vacant seats left after the first counselling. Shortlisted ranks for the 2nd counselling process has been released by the board.
Final Counselling
After the second counselling, the remaining vacant seats left has been allotted to the remaining candidates in the order. The third round counselling has been started from 15th September 2020. Candidates, who did not make a choice, can also participate in this round.
Open Counselling
An open counselling will be held by the authority, if in case the seats still remains vacant after all rounds of counselling. The open round of counselling will be started from 7th October 2020. The authority has released a list of eligible candidates and number of vacancies for final counselling.
Documents required for Counselling/ Admission
Candidates who have selected for the counselling rounds must have to be present at the allotted venue with certain important documents. Candidates have to submit the original as well as the attested photocopies of their documents. The list of documents is provided below:
