CENTAC 2020 Merit List (Revised) for UG Non NEET based course has been released on 12th October 2020. Its admission will be conducted by Centralized Admission Committee, Puducherry. This is a state level admission procedure held to fill the professional degree seats in the colleges that come under the UT of Puducherry. Through this admission process, candidates will get admission in various engineering & pharmacy courses. There will be no entrance exam conducted for offering admission in the UG Courses and candidates will get admission based on the scores of 10+2 level. CENTAC 2020 Merit List
CENTAC 2020 Merit list has been prepared by CENTAC based on which admissions to all courses (except MBBS & BDS) will be provided. The admission is offered on the basis of marks obtained by the candidates in 10+2 level.
Based on normalization method, students can be allotted ranks. In case, two candidates will get same rank in the Common Merit List (CML), then inter-se-merit list is prepared in the order of the priority.
CENTAC has released release merit list as draft by giving candidates one or two days to raise objection (if any). The final merit list will be published after considering the objections of the candidates (if any). Separate merit list will be prepared for Government Quota Seats & Management Quota Seats.

CENTAC 2020 Counselling
CENTAC 2020 Counselling will be done through online mode. CENTAC will have all the right to do physical counselling in any round (if needed) including the mop up round. All details of counselling will be sent to candidates through SMS, E-mail. Students during counselling rounds have to show certificates for document verification.
Counselling may be done in one or more rounds depending upon the necessity. Candidates will have to fill option of courses and colleges and have to submit the counselling fee.
CENTAC 2020 Admission
CENTAC 2020 Admission will be done on the basis of scores of NEET in MBBS / BDS courses and 12th level scores for other courses. Candidates will be allotted seats on provisional basis. After the provisional allotment will be done, candidates will have to download Provisional Allotment Order. If candidates will not report within the given time, provisional allotment will be automatically cancelled.
Candidates will have to bring all the following original certificates along with one set of photocopies:
- 10th & 12th Mark sheet
- 10th & 12th passing certificate
- Residence certificate
- Counselling call letter
- CENTAC 2020 application form (photocopy)
- Category Certificate
- Photo ID proof
- NEET Scorecard, etc.

- CENTAC 2020 Application Form can be applied by the candidates through online mode.
- Candidates who want to apply for LL.B course will have to fill separate application form.
- No request to modify the details of application form will entertained by the board after submission of form.
- The application process will consist of steps – Online registration, filling the application form, uploading of images and payment of application fee.
- Candidates are advised to register through valid Phone number and email ID to get login credentials.
- After completing the application process, keep one or more print out of the application form for future purpose.

CENTAC 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must check the following CENTAC 2020 Eligibility Criteria to know if they are eligible:
General Eligibility:
- Nationality: Candidates seeking admission must be Indian National. Also, the French nationals residing in UT of Puducherry will be treated on par with Indian Nationals and are eligible to apply for all courses.
- Domicile: Candidates belonging to the UT of Puducherry, must possess domicile certificate.
MBBS/BDS/B.V.Sc. /A.H. /B.P.T Programme:
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th /HSC examination conducted by higher secondary examination of Tamil Nadu or any other recognized board.
- Percentage: Candidates must have scored minimum of 50% marks (40% for OBC/BCM/MBC/EBC/BT/SC candidates) in the qualifying exam.
- Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have passed the qualifying examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Biotechnology, Botany or Zoology along with English as mandatory subject.
- Age Limit: He/ She must be at least 17 years in age as on 31.12.2020. There will be no upper age limit.
B.Tech Programme:
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed HSC/ 12th examination from any recognized board.
- Percentage: Candidates must have scored minimum of 45% marks (40% marks for reserved category candidates)
- Mandatory Subjects: Candidate must have passed with Physics and Chemistry as the mandatory subjects along with any one from Chemistry/ Biology/ Bio-technology/ Computer Science Subjects.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the last year of qualifying exam are also eligible.
- Age Limit: He/ She must not be more than 21 years as on 21.07.2020. 3 years of age relaxation will be given to reserved category candidates.
B.Pharm Programme:
- Qualification: Candidates must have passed 12th class examination from recognized board.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the 12th level are also eligible.
- Percentage: Candidates must have secured minimum 45% marks (40% marks for reserved categories) in the qualifying exam.
- Mandatory Subject: Physics and Chemistry are the mandatory subjects along with any one from Mathematics/ Bio-Technology/ Biology/ Computer Science Subjects in the 12th level to be eligible.
- Age Limit:
- Age Limit: He/ She must be at least 17 years in age as on 31.12.2020. There will be no upper age limit.
