Candidates who have qualified their written test will be called for the interview session. The authority will call the candidates according to the marks obtained by them in the order of merit list.
The candidates will be called for interview will be 3 times the total number of seats to be filled by candidates of each category fulfilling the cut off points.

PGIMER Nursing 2020 Counselling Procedure
The counselling procedure of PGIMER Nursing 2020 will be discussed below:
Round I
In the first round, candidates will be shortlisted after qualifying the written test will be called to attend the counselling. Students will be given preferences according to the order of merit.
Round II
In this round, students who were absent and will not be able to take part in the 1st round counselling will be able to appear in this round. Only the vacant seats left after the 1st round counselling will be offered to the candidates.
Round III
If any candidate still doesn’t gets seat of his/her choice after the round I and II counseling, he/she must attend the 3rd counselling. The vacant seats left after the second counselling will be offered to the remaining candidates.
Documents to be carried during counselling
At the time of appearing for the counselling process, candidates must bring their original as well as photocopy of their below document proofs:
- PGIMER 2020 Admit card
- Marksheet of 10thand 12th
- Pass certificates of 10thand 12th
- Photocopy of application form
- Photographs
- Category certificate (if applicable)
- Experience certificate
- Birth certificate
- Challan form
- NOC from present employer (if employed)
- Migration certificate from the passing university
- Government id proof (Aadhar card, PAN Card, Driving License, Passport etc.)
PGIMER Nursing 2020 Selection Criteria
Candidates will be selected on the basis of merit list prepared by the authority. The merit list will contain the name of shortlisted candidates as per their performance in the qualifying entrance test.
As per the percentile score obtained by the students, the authority will prepare the merit list. Candidates must score the minimum cut off marks decided for each category.
The final decision for selection of the candidates will be taken by the Director of PGIMER, Chandigarh. The minimum qualifying percentile to be scored in the written test for each category will be:
- Unreserved category – 50thpercentile
- ST/SC/OBC and PWD – 45thpercentile
Candidates who will be successfully selected have to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission. In case of failing to pay the fee, the seat will be cancelled and offered to the next student in merit order of the waiting list.
PGIMER Nursing 2020 Counselling process will be organized for the candidates who will qualify their written test. Candidates must bring their essential documents with them at the time of counselling for document verification.
