IIST 2020 Rank List for PG (non- interview) courses is releasing on or before 17th July 2020. List of Shortlisted Candidates for Interview (Video Conferencing) has been released for PG courses. The Rank List will be released for UG & PG courses through online mode. Indian Institute of Space Science and Technology (IIST) is a deemed university which offers various UG & PG courses. The university provides education in the area of Engineering, Technology, Space science & applications. IIST did not organize any entrance test for admission to the above courses. IIST 2020 Rank List – Releasing On or Before 17th July (PG Courses)
IIST Admission 2020 Rank List for PG (non- interview) courses is releasing on or before 17th July 2020. Link will be given here.
IIST Admission 2020 List of Shortlisted Candidates for Interview (Video Conferencing) has been released for PG courses. Click here for list.
Candidates will be able to check IIST admission rank list 2020 only through online mode. It will be available only for candidates those have submitted the application form successfully.
For UG courses, IIST Result 2020 will be declared in the third week of June 2020. For PG Course, it will be published in the second week of June 2020. The authority will release it for PG courses streams separately. IIST 2020 rank list will be published according to the category.
IIST 2020 Cut Off will be released in June 2020. Cut off will be published through online mode. There is two types of cut off, i.e. eligibility cut off and admission cut off.
IIST Admission procedure 2020 will be organized through offline mode for UG & PG courses. The counselling will be conducted on different dates for all the courses offered. As per the rank of the candidates in the respective exam, they will be called for the counselling rounds.
IIST 2020 Merit List
For B.Tech Course, IIST Merit List 2020 will be prepared on the basis of their aggregate marks secured in JEE Advanced 2020. For PG courses, candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of GATE scores for interview/written test.
In the rank list, the details about date/venues of the counselling will be published through online mode. Candidates should take a print copy of it for further procedure.
IIST Admission Rank list will be generated only for those candidates who register online for admission to IIST, Pay the registration fee and satisfy all the eligibility criteria.
After the publication of IIST Admission Rank list, the candidates will have to fill-in their choices of branch of study during June 2020.
How to Check the Merit List
Candidates should follow the given steps to check IIST Rank List 2020:
- Visit the official website. (Link will be provided above)
- Click on the link “Admission Rank List”.
- The result page will be displayed on the computer screen.
- Select your course.
- The merit list will be shown on the screen in a PDF format.
- Keep a printout copy of it for further reference.
Qualifying Marks
Candidates, those wishing to join B.Tech course in IIST must have to appear for JEE Main 2020 exam & then appear for JEE Advanced 2020 exam. Check below, the minimum prescribed category-wise marks in JEE Advanced 2020:

Tie Break Rules
In case of same marks, the following tie-break rules will be applied such as:
- Higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who has obtained higher marks in Mathematics.
- If this does not break the tie, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who secured higher marks in Physics.
- If there is a tie even after this, higher rank will be assigned to the candidate who secured higher rank in JEE(Main)-2020 examination, in the respective category

IIST Counselling 2020
Candidates will be called for the counselling process on the basis of the category wise rank list. IIST 2020 Counselling will be organized through offline mode.
Candidates can download their counselling call letter to appear in the counselling / interview process. It will be started from first week of June 2020 (for PG courses).
During counselling, candidates have to present their documents in person. Candidate’s documents are verified by the counselling authority.
After document verification, candidates have to give their choices of the programme as per their preferences in writing.
