Courses Offered:

The university will offer different courses in Under Graduate (UG) & Post Graduate (PG) programmes. Courses offered under both programmes will be as follows:

For UG, the university will offer courses such as B.A, B.A HONS., BMS, BBA, B.Sc., B.Tech, B.El.Ed, B.Com, LL.B, etc. For PG, the university will offer courses such as M.A, M.Com, M.Tech, MCA, M.Sc., MBA, LL.M, PGDCA, etc.

DU Application Form 2020

Candidates must go through the following details regarding DU application form 2020:

  • DU application form will be released through online mode.
  • For UG & PG courses, candidates will be able to fill the application form from 2nd April 2020 till 30th April 2020.
  • While filling application form, candidates will have to provide valid/ working email ID & phone number in the application form.
  • All the important communication will be send to candidate’s registered mail id or contact number.
  • Also upload scanned image of passport size photograph & signature in the JPG, JPEG, or PNG format.
  • The size of photograph & signature must be between 20 KB to 50 KB.
  • The applicants will also have to upload any ID Proof such as Aadhar Card/ Voter’s ID card/ PAN Card/ Passport/ Driving License.
  • Incomplete application form will be rejected, so candidates must fill all required details completely & carefully.
  • There will be no need to send any hard copy of application form to the exam conducting authority.
  • At last, candidates must not forget to take multiple printouts of filled in application form further use.

Application Fee:

  • Candidates will be able to submit the application form through online mode.
  • The mode of payment includes credit card, debit card or net-banking or UPI.
  • In any circumstances, the application fee will be non-refundable.
  • There will be no extra charges for multiple courses.

DU Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must check following details to know regarding DU Eligibility criteria:

General Eligibility:

  • Nationality: Indian national citizens or foreign students will be eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Age Criteria: There is no minimum age limit to apply for UG / PG courses. Except for the courses where age is prescribed by the MCI, BCI, DCI, NCTE and AICTE.

Eligibility for UG Courses:

For B.Com Course:

  • Percentage: Candidates will have to score minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have English/ Hindi with combination of any three among Mathematics, Accountancy, and Business Studies/ Commerce.

For B.Sc. Hons (Computer Science):

  • Percentage: Candidates will have to score minimum 60% marks in the qualifying examination.
  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have English and Mathematics as mandatory subject in the qualifying exam.

For B.Tech (IT & Mathematical Innovation):

  • Percentage: Candidates must score minimum 60% marks in 12th level to be eligible.
  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates will have to qualify 12th with mathematics as mandatory subject.

For B.A (Hons) in Multimedia and Mass Communication:

  • Percentage: Candidates will have to score minimum 75% marks in best four subject & 85% in English.

For B.A (Hons) Business Economics/ BMS/ BBA (FIA):

  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must have English & Mathematics as compulsory subject in 12th
  • Percentage: He/ She must score atleast 60% marks in best four subject including English & Mathematics.

For B.A (Hons.) in Arabic/ Hindi/ Punjabi/ Sanskrit/ Urdu /Bengali/ Persian:

  • Percentage: Candidates must score minimum 45% marks in the qualifying examination & 50% in the relevant subject.

For B.Sc. (Hons) Botany/ Zoology /Microbiology:

  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must qualify Intermediate with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Bio-technology (PCB) subjects.
  • Percentage: Candidates must score minimum 55% marks in the qualifying examination & 50% in the English subject.

For LLB Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify graduation degree from any stream.
  • Percentage: Candidates will have to qualify with minimum 50% marks for general, 45% for OBC & 40% for SC/ ST.

Eligibility for PG Courses:

For LLM Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify 3 or 5 year LLB degree.
  • Percentage: Candidates will have to qualify with minimum 50% marks for general, 45% for OBC & 40% for SC/ ST.

For MCA Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify 3 year Bachelor’s degree from university.
  • Percentage: Candidates will have to qualify with minimum 60% marks in the qualifying exam.
  • Mandatory Subject: Candidates will have to qualify with any one paper in Mathematical Science.

For M.Com Course:

  • Qualification: Candidates will have to qualify B.Com, B.Com (Hons.), B.A (Hons.), and B.A (Hons.) Economics or equivalent exam.
  • Percentage: Candidates will have to qualify with minimum 50% marks for general, 45% for OBC & 40% for SC/ ST.

DU Exam Pattern 2020

Candidates must go through following details regarding DU Exam Pattern. The pattern will may vary for UG & PG courses:

  • Exam Duration: The examination will be conducted for 2 hours duration.
  • Questions Type: There will be multiple choice questions (MCQ) asked in the exam.
  • Number of Questions: There will be total 100 questions in the exam.
  • Exam Mode: The examination will be conducted in computer based mode.
  • Marking Scheme: Each question will be of 4 marks. 1 mark will get deducted for each wrong answer.

Delhi University Syllabus 2020 

DU Syllabus 2020 for entrance test will vary as per the course applied for. For UG course, candidates will have to study from class 12th topics from the respective stream. For PG course, candidates will have to study from UG level topics from the respective field.

DU Admit Card 2020 

DU Admit Card 2020 will be made available on 15th May 2020. Candidates will be able to download the admit card via online mode.

It will be mandatory for all candidates to bring admit card at the examination centre. Without admit card, no candidate will be allowed to permit for the examination.

Along with admit card, candidates will also have to bring one valid ID proof like Identity card, Aadhar card, pan card, driving license or etc.

DU Answer Key 2020 

After DU entrance exam will get conducted, students will be able to download the answer key. Answer key will contain all correct answers of the questions asked in the examination.

With the help of answer key, candidates will be able to assume their marks. In case of any discrepancy, candidates will be able to register complain within 48 hours from time uploading of the answer key. After which, the authority will release the final answer key if required.

DU Result 2020 

Delhi University Result 2020 will be available through online mode. It will be declared on 25th June 2020.

Candidates will also be able to request for obtaining the copy of the ORS with fee of Rs. 500 per paper. A merit list will be prepared separately for all categories.

DU Cut Off 2020 

DU Cut Off 2020 will be released in different rounds as per the seats availability. The cut off will depend upon various factors like number of students applying, seats availability, performance in the qualifying exam, etc.

It will be released for selecting students for admission in merit based course.

DU Admission 2020

Candidates will have to register online for admission in UG merit based course. After qualification of the entrance exam for UG & PG course, candidates will be short-listed for interview/ group discussion as applicable.

It will be mandatory for all the candidates to appear in the counselling process. The counselling process will be started in the month of June or July 2020.

Candidates who will reach minimum marks (cut-off) will be eligible to apply for the admission. Candidates are advised to take printout of the admission form & proceed for verification of documents.

Students must carry the below given documents at the time of counselling process for verification:

  • 10th & 12th Passing certificate & Mark sheet
  • Transfer certificate and Migration Certificate
  • UG degree certificates (To apply for Master courses)
  • Character Certificate
  • Category Certificate
  • Several passport size photographs
  • Valid Id proof, etc.

  1. The University of Delhi has postponed the release of DU 2020 application form untill further notice. There will be a common application form of DU for all the UG level of programmes offered in all the 90 affiliates DU colleges. The process of filling out the application form of DU 2020 will be solely in online mode and no DU application form sent to the university via post/courier will be accepted.
