Candidates can go through the details regarding JEST 2020 application form from the given section:
- The application form is available through online mode.
- Candidates can fill their application form from 11th November 2019.
- Fill all the details like education and personal details correctly in the application form.
- Incomplete or incorrect application form will be rejected.
- Candidates have to upload passport size photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
- The last date of application submission is till 21st December 2019.
- Candidates are advised to take a printout of the application form for further admission procedures.
Application Fee:
- The application fees can be paid through online mode using debit card, credit card or net banking. No other mode will be accepted.
- Fee is waived for female applicants belonging to SC/ST category.

Ph.D. Programmes (Physics):
- Qualification: Candidates must pass M.Sc. in Physics. Some institutes accept B.Tech, B.E., M.Tech, M.Tech in Applied Physics and Mathematics degrees.
Theoretical Computer Science at IMSc:
- Qualification: Candidates must pass M.E., M.Sc. or M.Tech in computer science.
Ph.D. in Neuroscience at NBRC:
- Qualification: Candidates must pass M.E., M.Sc. or M.Tech in computer science.
Ph.D. in Computational Biology at IMSc:
- Qualification: Candidates must pass M.E., M.Sc., M.Tech and MCA from any recognized university.
Integrated M.Sc. / M.Tech- Ph.D. Programme (Physics):
- Qualification: Candidates must pass B.Sc. Physics/ Mathematics. For IIA candidates must pass B.Sc. Physics/ Mathematics, B.E., B.Tech Instrumentation/ Electrical/ ECE/ Computer Science etc.
- For IISER Pune: Candidates must pass ICTS-TIFR, NCRA, and B.Sc. in Physics, TIFR-TCIS.
Integrated Ph.D. Programme in theoretical Computer Science at IMSc:
- Qualification: Candidates must pass B.E., B.Sc., B.Tech and MCA in computer science or respective stream from any recognized university.
