J&K Polytechnic 2020 Counselling
After the J&K PET 2020 results announcement, candidates will be called for the counselling process. Only those candidates will be able to participate in the counselling process those are shortlisted in the merit list. The complete details of counselling will be provided on the website.
The counselling is organizing by online mode. Candidates have to pay counselling fee of Rs.500 through debit/credit card. Seats will be allotted to the candidates as per the availability of seats, reservation criteria, marks obtained by students in the entrance test etc.

J&K Polytechnic 2020 Merit List
After the results declaration of J&K PET 2020, the merit list will be prepared by the Board. The Board will prepare the merit list for candidates of various categories. Candidates will be shortlisted in the merit list as per their marks obtained in the entrance test.
Students have to score minimum cut off marks decided for various categories to be eligible to participate in the counselling process. In case there is a tie between two or more candidates, the selection of the candidate for admission into the college will be done on the basis of inter-se-merit.
J&K Polytechnic 2020 Counselling Procedure
Candidates can check the complete schedule and other details of J&K PET 2020 Counselling from the website. The counselling procedure will be started after the selection of the candidates in the merit list. Shortlisted candidates have to be present individually at the allotted counselling venue within the time period prescribed by the Board.
The counselling process is consisting of seat allotment and document verification of the candidates. Also candidates have to pay the non-refundable counselling fee. Seats will be allocated to the candidates in the order of merit list. In case any seat remains vacant, the same will be offered to the next candidate in the order of merit.
For the document verification round, candidates have to submit their original as well as photocopies of the necessary documents/testimonials. The documents to be submitted during counselling for verification are:
- 10th/12th Marksheet and Pass certificate
- Category certificate
- Permanent residence certificate
- Category certificate
- Any Photo Id proof
- Several passport size photographs etc.
J&K Polytechnic 2020 Counselling process will be started after the selection of the candidates in the merit list. It is important for the candidates to be individually present at the allotted college with the necessary documents. No candidate will be allotted seats without showing their original as well as photocopies of their documents. Also qualified candidates will be able to choose their choice of course and college.
