CET Delhi 2020 Eligibility, Check Qualification & Age Criteria

CET Delhi 2020 Eligibility includes qualification eligibility and age criteria that must be fulfilled by all the candidates wishing to appear the Common Entrance Test, Delhi. CET Delhi is commonly known as Delhi Polytechnic entrance exam. Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi is the exam conducting authority of CET Delhi. This entrance test is the gateway for admission to engineering and non-engineering diploma programmes offered by the polytechnic institutions of Delhi. Here, we are mentioning the CET Delhi Eligibility 2020.

CET Delhi 2020 Eligibility

CET Delhi will be conducted for 5 tests. Eligibility condition for each course will be different. Students can check their eligibility for the test for which he/she is appearing. Only Indian/sponsored candidates will be eligible for admission.

Aadhaar Card or PAN Card will be mandatory to apply for CET Delhi 2020 exam. The below table shows the qualification eligibility for each course.

Qualification Eligibility:

Test Number	Programme	Qualification Eligibility
Test 1	Engineering/Technology based Diploma Courses & Occupational Courses	Passed 10th or matrix or any other examination recognized as equivalent examination conducted by CBSE with not less than 35% aggregate marks in Science, English and Mathematics. The subjects Science, Mathematics and English are compulsory & the candidate should have passed in each of these three subjects. Candidate passing the qualifying examination under grading system must have to obtain the passing grade to be eligible to apply.
Test-2	Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice – English	Candidate have to pass 12th in any stream from CBSE board or its equivalent. The qualifying examination should be passed with minimum 35% marks  secured in best three subjects including English. For Modern Office Practice (English), English is the mandatory subject candidate should have obtained pass marks in this subject.
Test-2	Diploma Course in Modern Office Practice – Hindi	Minimum qualification required is 10+2 passed in any stream from CBSE board or its equivalent with minimum 35% aggregate marks. The marks will be calculated in aggregate of best three subjects including Sanskrit/Hindi.
Test-3	Diploma Course in Pharmacy	Prescribed qualification is 10+2 from CBSE or any other equivalent examination recognized by the pharmacy council of India passed with Physics, Chemistry & either Mathematics or Biology. PCM/B along with English are compulsory subjects. Students passed from National Institute of Open Schooling shall not be considered for admission.
Test-4	For candidates applying for lateral entry (For Delhi region candidates only).	Passed 12th Std examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics / Biology ( Botany and Zoology) OR 12th Science (with Mathematics as one of the Subject) or 12th Science with Vocational OR 12th Science with Technical OR Passed 10th class from CBSE board and 2 years ITI (Engg.) from ITIs/ITCs situated in Delhi only.
