NSD 2020 Exam Schedule
Here we are providing the detailed schedule for NSD 2020 admission procedure:
Availability of Application Form:
The NSD 2020 application form of the 2020 session will be released via online/offline mode from second week of March 2020.
Last Date of Application Form Submission:
The deadline to submit the application form for all the aspiring candidates will be third week of April 2020. Any application after the passing of deadline will not be accepted.
Release of Admit Card:
The admit card for the 2020 session would be out a week or 2 weeks before the conduction of the examination.
Only the registered candidates will be able to download the admit card. It will be mandatory for the candidates to carry the NSD 2020 admit card to the venue of the examination or else they would not be permitted to appear in the examination.
Date of Examination:
The NSD Preliminary test/audition will be held at twelve centers from May to June 2020. All the cities hosting preliminary examination would have different audition dates for the participating candidates.
Result Declaration:
The result of the NSD Entrance test will be expected to be declared within a month of the conduction of the examination.
After the NSD 2020 results will out, the subsequent merit list on the basis of which the candidates will be called for final work shop would be released.
The final work shop will be conducted from the second week of June 2020.

Eligibility Criteria
The candidates should check the eligibility criteria before filling the application form as without fulfilling the eligibility norms they won’t be permitted to enroll as a student at NSD. The Eligibility Criteria of NSD is provided below:
Qualification Criteria:
The candidate must hold a bachelor’s degree in any stream form any recognized university.
Theater Work Experience:
The candidate has to participate in at least 6 theatre productions.
Age Limit:
- The minimum age limit is 18 years.
- The maximum age limit is 30 years.
- Reserved category candidates would get 5 years relaxation upon submission of relevant caste certificate issued by competent authority.
Language:
- The candidate should have fluency in English and Hindi language.
- The candidate is required to have video evidence as documentary proof of theater experience.
