PGIMER Nursing 2019 Application Form
PGIMER Nursing 2019 Application Form details are provided below:
- The registration process of PGIMER Nursing 2019 is expected to start from April 2019 for M.Sc nursing.
- For B.Sc and B.Sc post basic nursing programmes, the registration is expected to start from June 2019.
- Candidates can fill their application form and submit fee through online mode.
- Candidates are advised to fill all the details in the form correctly.
- No detail in the form must be left unfilled.
- Candidate must take the print out of the filled application form for further use.
- Candidates have to upload their photograph, signature and other documents as per the prescribed specifications. Photograph should be in JPEG format with size not more than 50KB.
Application Fee:
The application fee can be paid by the applicants through online mode or by State bank challan.
- For general candidates fee is – Rs.1000
- For ST/SC/PWD – Rs.800
PGIMER Nursing 2019 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must be eligible to apply for PGIMER Nursing 2019 according to the below eligibility criteria:
For B.Sc Nursing:
- Only female candidates can apply for 4 years B.Sc Nursing programme.
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
- Age Limit: Candidate applying should not be more than 25 years and not less than 17 years of age on 1st September 2019.
- Qualifying Subjects: Candidate must have qualified his 10+2 level exams with the subjects of Physics, Biology, chemistry and English.
- Minimum Marks: Candidate must have scored aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
For B.Sc Post basic nursing:
- Candidate must be a registered midwife and registered nurse with the State Nursing council.
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from a recognized board or university.
- Minimum Marks: Candidate must have passed general nursing and midwifery with aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Age Limit: Candidate applying should not be more than 45 years of age as on 1st September 2019.
For M.Sc Nursing:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed in B.SC nursing/post basic from a recognized board or university.
- Minimum Marks: Candidate must have passed in B.SC nursing/post basic with aggregate of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Candidate must be a registered midwife and registered nurse with the State Nursing council.
- Experience: Candidate must have 1 year work experience after registered as a midwife and registered nurse with the State Nursing council.
PGIMER Nursing 2019 Exam Pattern
The examination pattern of PGIMER Nursing 2019 is provided below:
- Exam mode: PGIMER Nursing 2019 examination will be held in offline mode.
- Medium Language: The language medium of the paper will be in English only.
- Number of questions: Candidates will be asked total of 100 multiple choice questions.
- Total marks: The exam paper will be of total 100 marks.
- Marking Scheme: For each correct response, 1 mark will be awarded and for each wrong response 0.25 marks will be deducted.
PGIMER Nursing 2019 Syllabus
In M.SC Nursing, the syllabus will consist of topics from the subject of Nursing research, nursing foundations, Obstetric nursing, medical surgical nursing, child health nursing, mental health nursing, community health nursing and general knowledge.
In B.SC Nursing, the syllabus will consist of topics from the subject of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, G.K and current affairs.
In B.SC Nursing Post Basic, the syllabus will consist of topics from the subject of Medical Surgical Nursing (including Anatomy and Physiology), Scientific Principles Applied in Nursing Practice & Trends in Nsg, Community Health Nursing including Nutrition, Child Health Nursing, Mental Health Nursing, Obstetric Nursing and Midwifery and General Knowledge. The syllabus will be of Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery Standard.
PGIMER Nursing 2019 Preparation Tips
Candidates can prepare for PGIMER Nursing 2019 as per the given tips below:
- Candidates must make a proper timetable to study.
- Before starting the preparation, students must review the exam pattern and syllabus.
- Candidates must focus more on the weaker sections.
- Students must solve the previous year’s question papers and sample papers to know the type of questions coming in the exam.
- Candidates must regularly revise the studied topics.

PGIMER Nursing 2019 Admit Card
PGIMER Nursing 2019 Admit Card can be downloaded by the candidates through online mode from the website. The admit card is expected to be released in the month of June for M.Sc Nursing.
For B.Sc and B.Sc post basic nursing it is expected till 1st week of August 2019. Candidates can download their admit card by entering their application number, password and security key.
PGIMER Nursing 2019 Result
The PGIMER M.Sc Nursing 2019 Result will be declared on 24th June 2019. B.Sc and B.Sc post basic nursing result it will be declared on 13th August 2019.
Candidates can check their result through online mode from the official website. The results can be downloaded by entering the login credentials.
PGIMER Nursing 2019 Counselling
A merit list of shortlisted candidates will be prepared according to which students will be called for interview/counselling round.
PGIMER Nursing counselling will be started from 26th June 2019 for M.Sc nursing. B.Sc and B.Sc post basic nursing counselling will be started from 16th August 2019.
Candidates who will qualify the cut off marks will be called for the interview 3 times the total seats to be filled in each category. It is mandatory for the candidates to appear for the interview round.
PGIMER Nursing 2019 entrance test will enable the qualified candidates to take admission in PGIMER Institutions in nursing courses. To be eligible for admission, candidates must qualify the written test, merit list and interview round.
