PGIMER 2019 Application Form will be started from March 2019 (July session). Postgraduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) is a Medical Institute in Chandigarh, India. It is a national level entrance exam to get admission in medical MD/MS courses. The university conducts the examination two times in a year, i.e. January & July Session. PGIMER 2019 Application Form

- Notification for July session will be published in the month of March 2019.
- Candidates can start the application form for July session from the last week of March 2019.
- Candidates are advised to fill the application form before the last date of application form.
- Candidates have to upload their scanned photograph in a JPEG format (size of the image should not exceed 50 KB). The size of signature should not be more than 20 KB and other certificates not more than 300 KB.
- Candidates should take the print copy of the filled-in application form and keep it for further process.
Application Fee:
All candidates have to deposit the fees in any State Bank of India branch by filling the challan form in the name of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh (Examination) in the Power Jyoti Account No. 32211613319. The candidates can also pay fee through payment gateway.

Eligibility Criteria
Candidate will have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria to apply for PGIMER PG courses.
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have completed their MBBS form Institute recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI).
- Training: Candidate must have completed their 12 months of rotating training on or before December 31, 2018 for January session and June 30 for July 2019 session.
- Candidate must be registered with Central or State Medical Council of India.

How to Apply for PGIMER 2019
Candidates should go through the steps given below to fill step-by-step application form.
Step 1: Online Registration
- Visit the official website (link will be given above).
- Click on the link to register for PGIMER 2019.
- After reading the instruction click on “Apply Now” button to begin the registration process.
- Candidates will have to fill the candidates name, fathers name, Mothers name, Date of Birth, Gender, Nationality, Marital status, Mobile number & Email-id.
- After filling these details click on “Continue” button.
- Verify the details and click on “Submit” button.
Step 2: Issuance of Login id & Password
- After successful registration, candidates will be directed to homepage. The Login-id & password will be displayed on the screen which has to be note down for future reference.
- It will also be sent to the candidates registered email-id.
Step 3: Fill Education Details
- After that login the portal using Login Id & Click on ‘Click here’ to fill educational information’ .
- Fill Qualifying Exam, Qualifying Subject, Month and Year of Admission, Maximum Marks and Institution passed from.
- Click on “submit” button after filling all the details.
Step 4: Upload Documents
- Candidates will have to upload the scanned image of photograph, signature, internship certificate and category certificate as per prescribed format.

Step 5: Payment of Application Fee
- Candidates have to pay the application fee based on chosen category.
- Payment can be done by two ways:
- Bank Challan: Candidates will have to pay the application fee through bank challan deposit at any SBI branch. The challan should be duly filled in the name of Director, PGIMER, Chandigarh in Power Jyoti Account.
- I-collect Service: Candidates having account in SBI bank can pay through SBI I-collect service.
Step 6: Submit & Print the Application Form
- After successful submission of application fee candidates can take printout of the PGIMER application form after login their account.
