From the year 2019 onwards, NTA is conducting the entrance examinations like JEE Main, NEET, GPAT, UGC NET and CMAT. JEE Main will be held twice in a year. Through the formation of NTA (National Testing Agency), the burden on various exams conducting authorities to conduct various entrance tests are removed. Below we have mentioned details about the various examinations to be conducted by NTA.
NTA 2019
National Testing Agency (NTA) is a legal body assigned by the government of India to conduct various entrance examinations which were previously organized by the exam conducting authorities like AICTE & CBSE. NTA will conduct the entrance test of JEE Main and UGC NET twice in a year. NEET 2019, CMAT & GPAT is conducted once in a year. Candidates now have the option of choosing date for the examination held over various days.
NTA Organizes JEE Main 2019
JEE Main 2019 Application Form for April Exam has been started from 8th February 2019. Check here for application form details.
From the year 2019, JEE Main exam is managed by the NTA. Till 2018 the entrance test was organized by the CBSE Board.
The JEE Main 2019 entrance test is conducting two times in a year that is on 6th – 20th January 2019 and 7th – 21st April 2019.
The exam will be organized in online CBT mode on various dates. The change made by NTA in JEE Main 2019 is that it is conducting two times in a year.
JEE Main is conducted to offer admission in various IITS, NITs and CFTIs institutions. Candidates will be applicable for admission into these colleges if they have attained at least 75% marks or they are in the top 20 percentile in the 12th level examination. For ST/SC candidates the minimum qualifying marks are 65%.

NTA Organizes NEET 2019
NEET 2019 Exam Dates have been released now. Click here for details.
NEET entrance test will be conducted by the NTA from the year 2019. Previously the test was being conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The examination will be carried out in offline mode.
The examination will be conducted on 5th May 2019. NEET entrance test is conducted to provide admission in various medical courses offered by various renowned medical Institutions across the country.
The responsibility of the authority NTA is limited to the examination conduction, result declaration and providing All India rank. On the basis of AIQ the further counselling process will be organized by the respective authority.

NTA Organizes Other Exams (GPAT, UGC NET & CMAT)
Besides NEET and JEE Main examinations, National testing Agency (NTA) also manage various other entrance tests like GPAT, UGC NET and CMAT. NTA conduct these national level entrance tests through online mode (Computer Based Test).
CMAT

CMAT is a national level exam conducted once in every year to offer admission into various management programs. The exam was earlier conducted by the authority of AICTE as per the directions of MHRD, Govt. of India.
GPAT

GPAT is a national test organized once in every year to offer admission in M.Pharm programs in various AICTE approved Universities and colleges. NTA has taken the responsibility of conducting the exam from the year 2019.
CMAT and GPAT 2019 Dates

UGC NET

UGC NET is an entrance test conducted to determine the eligibility of Indian Nationals for Assistant professor or Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for Assistant professor both in Indian colleges and Universities. According to the PI report, UGC NET will be the first exam to be conducted by NTA from 9th – 23rd December 2018.

The Authority of NTA is only responsible for conduction of examination throughout the year. There is no changes done in the Syllabus, Marking Scheme and Examination Pattern by NTA.
