A separate merit list will be prepared on the basis of the NEET UG score for the candidates of Goa. The admissions are offered on the state merit list basis. Candidates have to fill the application form to participate in the counselling and submit it to the notified locations as per the schedule.

After accepting the application form, the authority will publish the merit list for the eligible candidates. Candidates can get the list from the website. As per the ranking of the candidate in the state merit list, candidates have to report for the counselling as per the given date and time.

Selection & Admission Procedure

  • The counselling of NEET 2019 in Goa state is organized for the candidates those who will appear and get qualified marks in the exam.
  • Candidates should fill the application form for attending the counselling by paying the fees.
  • The candidates have to present in person at the specified counselling venue for the seat allotment.
  • Candidates will be given opportunity to select a seat of choice from the seats available at the time of admission as per their ranks.
  • The admission will be completed only after the submission of original documents and payment of fees.
  • After the seat allotment, candidates have to report the allotted college within 3 working days of grant of admission.

Reservation Criteria

Candidates claiming for reserved categories must produce the valid relevant certificate. The reservation criteria for various categories of Goa state are given below:

  • SC (Schedule Caste): 2%
  • ST (Schedule Tribe): 12%
  • OBC (other Backward Class): 27%
  • PH (Physically Handicapped): 3%
  • FF (Freedom Fighter): 1%
  • CSP (Central Government Sector Employee of Goa): 3%
  • ESM (Ex-Servicemen): 1%
  • GN (Grand Daughter/Son of Defence Personnel): 2%
  • NRI (Non Resident of India): Up To 5%

Candidates have to bring these original certificates along with one set of Xerox copy for document verification in the counselling.
