The SGT University offers various UG & PG courses in streams like Engineering, Medicine & Health Sciences, Nursing, Science, Management, Mass Communication, Law, Design etc. Admission will be given as per the merit list or entrance exam (as applicable). SGT University Application Form 2019
A few important details regarding the SGT University Application form 2019 are as follows.
- The Application form of S.G.T University will be available through online mode.
- Firstly, candidates are required to register for information bulletin to get the link of application form.
- The application form will be released in the month of April 2019.
- Candidates have to fill their personal, qualification, address & other required details in the application.
- Paying the application fee is mandatory while submitting the application form.
- Candidates should keep multiple printouts of the filled application form for future reference.
Application Fee:
Candidates will have to pay the application fee of Rs. 1100/- and it is non-refundable. The candidates can pay the amount by their Credit/Debit card, Net banking, and Payment wallets.

Eligibility Criteria
Given below are the Eligibility norms that a candidate has to satisfy to get admission in various courses:
B.Tech:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed 10+2 with minimum 45% marks.
- Subjects: Candidates should have Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one out of Chemistry/Biotechnology/Computer Science/Biology as optional subject.
MBA:
- Qualifying Exam: The candidate must have a bachelor’s degree recognized by the central/state government.
- Percentage: Minimum aggregate of 50% marks is mandatory in the qualifying exam.
BA LLB:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have completed their 10+2 with a minimum of 45 percent (General).
- Percentage: Candidates belonging to the OBC category should have a minimum of 42 percent and 40 percent for SC/ST candidates.
Other UG Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have passed 12th/10+2 or equivalent examination from any recognized board
- Percentage: Candidate should have 45% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination.
Other PG Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Bachelor’s degree or any equivalent degree from any recognized university/institution.
- Percentage: Candidate should have 45% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination.
SGT University Admission Procedure 2019
The admission to various courses in the university will be made as per the merit of the qualifying examination or according to the eligibility criteria prescribed.
To get admissions in the Technical Courses, candidates with JEE Main 2019 scores will be given preference. Admission to B.Tech courses will be based on qualifying exam and the Personal Interview conducted by the university.
SGT University Admission Procedure is comprises of filling application form, release of merit list for shortlisted candidates, appears in the counselling, seat allotment etc.
SGT University Merit List 2019
The merit list for various courses will be published through the website. The candidates can visit the website and click on the respective link to check the SGT University Merit List 2019.
The university will release the merit list in the month of May 2019. No candidate would be sent any hard copy of merit list/result via post or any such means.
SGT University Counselling 2019
SGT University counseling for the seat allotment process will be held at the respective Departments/Institutes as per prescribed counselling schedule. It will be commenced in the month of June or July 2019.
The candidates have to bring the necessary documents in order to verify them for admission. It is compulsory for the candidates to be physically present at the counselling venue.
If any discrepancy is found in the documents presented by the candidate then the candidate’s admission process will be cancelled at once. The merit list order would be followed during the allocation of seats to the candidates.
Any candidate who would not be allocated seat in the first round would be allocated seat in the subsequently rounds of counselling.
SGT University Admission 2019
After the seat is allotted to the candidates, they have to submit the admission fee on the day of counselling itself. SGT University admission will be held after the release of merit list.
After successful completion of document verification and payment of fees by the candidate the admission will be granted in the university campus.
Important Guidelines Regarding Admission:
- If two or more candidates secure same marks in the merit then their relative merit will be based on the marks secured by them in the qualifying examination.
- The documents of the candidates submitted by them during the counselling process would be returned only after the completion of verification procedure.
- Candidates have to fulfill the eligibility criteria as per given in the information bulletin to get admission in courses offered by SGT University.
- The admission procedure will be closed as soon as all the seats are filled.s
- The candidate must deposit his/her admission fees during the counselling process itself. If the candidate fails to do so then they would not be considered for admission.
