SGT University Application Form 2018
Candidates are advised to go through the information brochure to get the complete information about the admission.
- The SGT prospectus can be purchased by paying the application fee.
- Candidates have to fill the online application form.
- The application form filing process has been started now.
- Candidates carefully furnished the details in the application form. In case of any incorrect details their candidature will be cancelled.
- The last date to fill SGT University application form 2018 will be declared later.
- The application form will be considered completed after the submission of application fee.
- Candidates should take the printout of the application form after final submitting it.
Application Fee:
The application fee is Rs. 1100/- for all candidates. It is non-refundable. The application fee has to be submitted through credit card/debit card/internet banking.
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria given below to become eligible for admission.
Nationality: Only Indian candidates are eligible to apply.
UG Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate passed 12th or equivalent examination from any recognized board.
- Subjects: Candidates should have physics, chemistry, mathematic or English as compulsory subjects along with any relevant subjects in which candidate wants to get admission.
- Minimum Marks: Candidate should have 45% aggregate marks in their qualifying examination.
PG Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate should have the bachelor degree or any equivalent degree from any recognized university/institution.
- Subject: Candidate should have the relevant subjects in which PG course he/she wants to get admission.
- Minimum Marks: Candidate must pass with the 45% minimum marks in their qualifying examination.
SGT University Admission Procedure 2018
SGT University admission procedure will be comprised of filling application form, publishing merit list for shortlisted candidates, appears in the counselling, seat allotment and the final admission. The admission in each course will be offered on the basis of candidate’s qualifying exam marks. Admission to B.Tech is based on qualifying exam and the PI (Personal Interview) conducted by the university.
Candidates those have done graduation or post graduation are not eligible to take part in 5 year integrated programme. Candidates those will fulfill the complete eligibility criteria prescribed by the authority will be only eligible for the admission.
SGT University Merit List 2018
On the basis of merit prepared by the university for admission, the candidates will be shortlisted for the admission. The merit list will be prepared through marks submitted by the candidates in the application form. The merit list will be published by the university on their website.
If two or more candidates will secure same marks in the merit, their relative merit will be evaluated by the marks obtained by them in the qualifying or equivalent examination. Candidates can appeared for the counselling as per the rank in the merit list.
SGT University Counselling 2018
The counseling for the seat allotment process will be held at the Departments/Institutes as per “Counseling Schedule” given in the information brochure. No separate communication will be sent to the candidates in this regard.
At the time of counselling, the candidate’s eligibility for admission will be verified. Candidates have to bring their original documents for participating in the counselling. It is also necessary to attend the counselling in person to the designated place.
Candidates will be allowed to fill the preference of college/course as per the order of merit. If any candidate will not be allotted with the seat, he/she can participate in the next round of counselling.
SGT University Admission 2018
After the seat allotted to the candidates, they have to submit the admission fee on the day of counselling itself. The candidates have to present with all the required certificates/documents/ testimonials in original to the Admission Committee for verification.
The admission committee will verify the candidate’s original documents/certificates and provide the final admission. After completing all the admission formalities, candidates can appear for the academic session.
If any candidate will found to be ineligible through his/her respective original documents, then they will not be offered the seat in any of the campus.
