It is conducted every year to offer admission in the Diploma courses within a state. It is a state level polytechnic entrance exam. - The application forms can be filled and submitted through online mode only.
- HP PAT 2019 application form will be made available from the first week of April 2019.
- The authority will give the application form filling opportunity till the second week of May 2019.

- Upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format by the authority.

Application Fee:
The authority will provide the two modes to pay the application fee. Application fee will be Rs. 650/- for general category candidates and Rs. 400/- for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
The fee can be paid either through credit card/debit card/internet banking or through bank Challan. Candidates are required to deposit the bank Challan at any branch of State Bank of India.
Eligibility Criteria

- Bonafide/Domicile: The candidate should belong to HP state.
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must be passed 10th or equivalent exam from any recognized board or Himachal Pradesh board.
- Minimum Marks: One should secure 35% aggregate marks in the qualifying examination.
- Subjects: The candidates must have Mathematics, Science and English subjects in their previous examination.
- Appearing Candidates: Such candidates can also apply.

How to Apply
Check the steps given below to fill the HP PAT online application form:
- Navigate the official website (link will be given above).
- Click on ‘Online Admission 2019’ link.
- On the home page of website click on ‘Polytechnic-PAT’ tab.
- After that you will be redirected to the ‘New User Registration’.
- Enter the registration details required there.
- Now, click on ‘Submit’ button.
- After successful submission of registration details, candidates will receive an Email & SMS on their registered email ID and mobile number.
- Login to fill the application form by providing user ID and password.
- Click on ‘Apply Online’ and fill all the details asked.
- Now, tick on ‘I Agree’ after reading all terms and conditions and click on’ Save & Proceed to Next Step’ Tab.
- Upload the scanned photograph and signature in the prescribed format (JPEG format with size less than 100 kb.)
- Click on ‘Next’ and pay the application fee by selecting any mode.
- Take the printout of acknowledgement page for further references.
