The National Institute of Design (NID) will announce NID 2019 Exam Dates through online mode. NID entrance exam is a national level exam. It will be organized for admission to the B.Des, GDPD and M.Des programs at NID campuses across India. NID exam will be conducted in two stages, i.e. Preliminary and Mains. After completion of both the exam, the authority will prepare final merit list. Candidates whose name will be in the merit list eligible for admission in NID campuses. NID Exam Schedule 2019

Pre-Examination Schedule:
The NID 2019 Application Form will be available from 1st October 2018. Last date to fill the application form will be last week of October 2018. The application form will be available in online mode.
The conducting authority provides facility to review and edit the application form till second week of November 2018.
The exam conducting authority will release NID admit card 2019 for both prelim and mains exam. Admit card will be available from third week of December 2018 (DAT prelim) and fourth week of March 2019 (DAT Mains).
NID 2019 Exam will be conducted in two stages preliminary and mains. The DAT 2019 prelim exam will be conducted in the first week of January 2019. DAT 2019 main exam will be conducted from third week of May 2019.
Post-Examination Schedule:
The authority will release provisional answer key of NID prelim exam for all the set of the question papers. Candidates will have an option to challenge the answer key through online mode.
Window to challenge the answer key will be started from third week of January 2019. The final NID answer key for DAT prelim will be released in last week of January 2019.
The NID 2019 Result for prelim exam will be declared in third week of March 2019.The result will be available in online mode. Based on score obtained in NID prelim separate merit list will be prepared for each category.
Based on the merit list of prelim exam eligible candidates will be called for NID DAT 2019 Mains. The final merit list will be prepared category-wise based on sum total of weightage score scored by candidate in prelim and mains exam.
The NID 2019 counseling is expected to be held in second week of June 2019. Candidates with their name in the merit list will be called for counseling as per their rank.
The counseling procedure will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will have to present all specified documents in original and copy for document verification.
