DU JAT 2018: Cut-off, Result, Counselling & Admission Procedure

Delhi University Admission 2018Delhi University 2018 Fifth Admission List for UG entrance based courses has been released on 6th August 2018. Delhi University Joint Admission Test is a university level entrance exam also referred as DU JAT 2018. Delhi University organizes the JAT examination for providing admission to students in BMS (Bachelor of Management Studies), BA (Hons) Business Economics, BBA (FIA) and other courses. After qualifying JAT exam, students also have to clear the GD-PI rounds to get admission. DU JAT Result

Appeared students can check the DU JAT 2018 Result through online mode from 7th July 2018. After clearing the entrance test, candidates will be selected for GD (Group Discussion) and PI (Personal Interview) rounds. The final result is based on the marks obtained in the entrance test and GD & PI rounds.

Counsellling Process

DU JAT Counselling 2018 will be started after the declaration of final result of entrance exam and other admission rounds. Shortlisted candidates are required to produce the necessary documents in original at the time of admission. During counselling process, candidates also have to pay the admission fee to confirm their admission.

DU JAT Application Form 2018

  • Candidates can fill and submit the DU JAT 2018 Application Form via online mode through the website.
  • Fill all the required details in the application such as personal, academic, address, etc.
  • Upload the scanned images of photograph, signature, ID Proof & other required documents.
  • Candidates have to pay the application fee through online mode.
  • Take a printout of the application form for further use.

Application Fee:

  • The application fee can be paid through online mode (debit/credit card or net banking).
  • The application fee will be Rs. 500 for general and OBC and Rs. 250/- for SC, ST & PwD candidates.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates should check the eligibility criteria before applying. The basic eligibility criteria is mentioned below:

  • Qualification: Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent exam from any recognized board.
  • Percentage: Candidates must have obtained at least 60% (for general/OBC), 54% (for CW/PwD) and 50% for SC/ST candidates.
  • Appearing: Candidates appearing in the qualifying exam are also eligible to apply.
  • Age Limit: There is no age limit to apply for this exam.

DU JAT Admit Card 2018

Candidates can get the DU JAT 2018 Admit Card from 14th June 2018. Students can download the admit card through online mode. The admit card bear details like student’s name, roll number, photograph, exam centre, exam date & time, etc.

DU JAT Exam Pattern

  • Type of Question: There will be objective type questions asked in the exam.
  • Exam Mode: The exam will be organized through pen and paper based mode.
  • Duration: The exam duration will be two hours.
  • Sections: The exam will comprise of sections like Quantitative Ability, General English, Business & General Awareness and Reasoning & Analytical Ability.
  • Marking Scheme: 3 marks will be given for each correct answer.
  • Negative Marking: 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.

DU-JAT Syllabus

To prepare better for the examination, students should prepared as per the syllabus. The syllabus will have various topics such as Business & General Awareness, General English, Reasoning & Analytical Ability and Quantitative Ability.
