NIMCET 2021 Counselling (Choice Filling) will be started from September 2021. NIMCET (NIT MCA Common Entrance Test) is a national level examination. It will be managed by the National Institutes of Technology, Raipur. This exam is conducted for providing admission to MCA programme. Through this exam, candidates can get admission in all NITs at Agarthala, Allahabad, Bhopal, Calicut, Durgapur, Jamshedpur, Kurukshetra, Raipur, Surathkal, Tiruchirappalli and Warangal. NIMCET 2021 Counselling
The application form will be common for appearing in examination, counselling & admission to MCA at all eleven participating NITs offering MCA programme. There will be need to apply separately to any NIT for admission to MCA programme.
After declaration of the result, candidates must have to register for the counselling process. The counselling/choice filling will be started from September 2021 through online mode.
Candidates, those qualify the examination only they will be allowed to fill choices of Institution in which they want to get admission. Candidates must use their login ID & password to fill the choices of Institution.
After seat allotment, candidates should report at any one of the RC (Reporting Centers) personally to confirm their seat. The admission will be given to the candidates on the basis of rank & filled choices. Candidates should also bring their documents at reporting center for verification.
Before going for remote reporting, candidates must have to submit Rs. 10,000 as an initial fee through SBI-I Collect only. Under any circumstances, the transfer from one NIT to another NIT will not be permitted once the candidates have taken admission in any of the participating NIT.

Counselling Procedure
The complete details about NIMCET Counselling 2021 Procedure is as given below:
Registration and Choice Filling & Locking:
To participate in the counselling, candidates first have to register themselves by entering their login & password. Now, candidates must have to fill choices of colleges as per their preferences. Candidates must lock their choices before the last date. Otherwise, the choices will be locked automatically. After locking, candidates will not access their locked choices. Candidates should take a printout copy of filled choices & keep carefully till the end of NIMCET 2021 Counselling process.
Seat Allotment & Personally Reporting:
The University will offer the seats to the candidates on the basis of filled choices & rank. The seat will be allotted to the candidates in three rounds. Candidates, those will get a seat in their given preferences will have to report at the allotted Institution within a given time period. Candidates will have to carry their documents/certificate at the allotted institutions for verification. Candidates must download their allotment letter before going for reporting from the official website.
Surrender of the Seats:
Candidates who will not wish to join the allotted institution & wishes to participate in another round of seat allotment will have to report to the reporting center & surrender their seat by submitting a prescribed application.
Final Round of Allotment (Vacant Seats):
This round will be organized only for candidates who have to surrender their seats & not get any seats in any round of seat allotment. It will be conducted through online mode. Candidates will have to report to the allotted institution to confirm their admission by paying an admission fee.
