UPES 2021 Application Form
Following are the complete details that candidates should know while applying for UPES 2021:
- UPES 2021 Application Form submission process has been started from November 19,2020 through online as well as offline mode.
- Candidates will be able to apply for the examination through the website of exam conducting authority or from the university campus.
- Candidates will be able to submit their application form till 11th May 2021 For MBA & till 14th July 2021 for B.Tech.
- The Application form submission process will contain 4 steps – Filling of Personal Details, Fee Payment, Submission of Academic History and final submission of application respectively.
- Every participating candidate should confirm their eligibility before filling the application form, as only eligible candidates are able to apply for examination.
- Candidates must have to fill application form very carefully as authority will not provide any correction facility.
- Candidates should take the printout of filled application form and fee receipt for future references.
Application Fee:
The Application Fee can be paid through both online and offline mode. Candidates can use Credit Card, Debit Card, Internet Banking and Demand draft payment gateways for transaction of application fee.

UPES 2021 Eligibility Criteria
It will be mandatory for every candidate to fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for any courses. Appearing candidates must confirm their eligibility for each program in which they want apply for:
General Eligibility:
- Nationality: UPES 2021 Admission is open for both Foreign and Indian candidates.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in their qualifying level will be also eligible for the admission.
- Age Limit: Candidates should have born on or before October 1st, 1999 to be eligible for the admission process.
B.Tech Courses:
- Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 Intermediate or equivalent examination with at least of 50% marks from any recognized board.
- JEE Main: Candidates must have secured minimum of 50% marks at higher & Senior Secondary level (10th& 12th) and minimum 50% aggregate in PCM at senior secondary level (12th class).
- Direct Admission: Candidates must have obtained at least of 80% marks at Higher & Senior Secondary level (10th& 12th) and minimum 80% aggregate in PCM at the senior secondary level (12th class).
MBA Course:
- Qualification: Candidates should have passed the graduation with 50% marks in any discipline from any recognized university.
- Entrance Exam: Candidates can either participate in UPESMET or CAT/ XAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ GMAT exam to be eligible for MBA admission.
LLB Courses:
- Qualification: Candidates should have passed 10+2 Intermediate or its equivalent examination with 50% marks.
- Entrance Exam: Candidates can apply for LLB programs with CLAT, LSAT or UPES law entrance exam scores.
UPES Admission 2021 Admission Procedure
Candidates can get admission in UPES campus through various admission processes. The University provides the admission on the basis of various national level entrance exams and the self-conducted entrance exam. UPES also provides direct admission in various programmes on the basis of scores obtained by the students in their 12th level.
As per the UPES admission criteria, 80% of admission will be provided on the basis of their university level entrance exam like UPESEAT, UPESMAT and UPES law aptitude test. Other 20% admission will be provided on the basis of national level entrance exam like CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, GMAT, JEE Main, CLAT, LSAT and merit scores.
UPES 2021 Entrance Exam
University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES) conduct their own university level entrance examination for the admission into their various offered courses. Candidates will have to register themselves in order to participate in the examination through the website of exam conducting authority.
The university will conduct University of Petroleum and Energy Studies Engineering Aptitude Test (UPESEAT) for admission in Engineering programs. UPES also conduct UPESMET, UPESDAT and UL-SAT for Management, Design and Law courses respectively.
UPES Admission 2021 Merit/ Result
The University will announce the result for various university level entrance examinations after few weeks of the completion of entrance test. Candidates can expect results till July 2021 for MBA and in June 2021 for B.Tech on the website of authority.
The result will be announced individually for every candidate through online mode. The authority will not send result to any candidates individually by post or any other offline mode.
UPES Admission 2021 Cut Off
UPES will release the cut off marks after the declaration of result. Cut Off marks will be the minimum marks candidates are required to obtain to qualify the exam. The Cut Off marks will be released on the basis of various factors including the number of candidates, difficulty level of paper, availability of seats and average marks scored by the candidates.
Candidates will be selected for the counseling process on the basis of the cut off marks. The authority will release the list of candidates shortlisted by the cut off marks for counselling procedure.
UPES Admission 2021 Counselling
The Counselling process will be the last round for the admission in UPES Campus. University will conduct the UPES 2021 counseling process from July/ August 2021 through online mode. Counselling process will be the mandatory procedure for every qualified candidate, as authority will provide the seats on the applied programs through the counseling process.
Counseling process for every course will be different, as shortlisted candidates for MBA course will have to qualify the PI and GD round to complete their admission. The university will conduct PI for various courses through online mode. PI for various UG & PG courses (except B. Tech, LLB, B. Des, B. Pharma, LLM & M. Des) will be conducted in July/ August 2021.
