SRMJEEE Counselling 2021 – Started (Phase I)

The admission is subject to satisfying the minimum eligibility criteria as stipulated by the respective institutions, rank order, production of all original certificates and other documents listed below for verification, and payment of Registration and full tuition fees.
The counselling will be conducted through online mode. In counselling procedure, candidates will be allotted seats and branches in the university and associated institutions. The candidates will download and take a printout of call letter for further process of admission after counselling process.
On the basis of the prepared merit list, candidates will be shortlisted for counselling. The offline counselling will be conducted on university campus. Without counseling call letter, no candidate will be allowed to take part in the counselling. The counselling should be attended by the candidate itself, no other person can attend the counselling in place of the candidate.

Reporting at Counselling Center:
- On the basis of the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam, the university release the ranks of the candidates.
- As per the rank obtained by the candidate, they will be called for the counselling on different dates.
- The counselling date and time will be published on the university website. The university will also intimate the candidates regarding counselling through email and SMS on their registered email Id and mobile number.
- Candidates must download their counselling call letter from the website to attend the counselling.
- As per the date and time mentioned, candidates can report the SRM university campus for counselling.
Verification of Documents:
- During counselling session, candidates will have to submit their original documents along with one set of photocopy.
- Without verification of original documents, the seats will not be allotted to any candidate.
Allotment of Seats:
- After the document verification process, the seats allotment procedure will be started.
- The seats will be allotted on the basis of candidate’s filled choices and their ranks.
- It is must to present physically while allotting the seats.
- If seats will remain vacant after first allotment, then the second round of counselling will be conducted through online mode.
- To confirm the seats, candidates will have to submit the admission fee.
- Provisional Allotment Letter will be issued only upon payment of Rs. 2,10,000/- (includes Registration Fee of Rs. 10,000/- and Part of first year tuition Fee).
- However the candidates can also bring Demand Draft for Rs. 2,10,000/- drawn in favour of “SRMIST” payable at Chennai.
- No other mode of payment (Cash/Cheque) will be accepted.
- The seat will be confirmed only after the fee submission and it cannot be changed on later stage.

- Counselling Call Letter
- 10th and 12th marksheet and passing certificate
- Admit Card/Hall ticket of the qualifying examination
- Transfer Certificate
- Character Certificate
- Category Certificate (caste certificate if applicable)
- Photo ID proof (PAN, Aadhar, Passport) – Original for verification and return and Photocopy
- Passport size photograph (same as pasted on application form)
- Cancelled cheque leaf with name of the candidate/Parent/Grand Parent printed.
- Receipt(s) for payment made through E-Pay facility or Demand Draft
