IISc Rank List 2021 will be released after few weeks of the form filling. Indian Institute of Science (IISc) is a leading institution which offers UG, PG, research & Ph.D. courses in the field of science & research. The Institution will not conduct any entrance exam to get admission into these courses. Candidate’s admission will be on the basis of national level entrance exams. Admission for courses will be done through JEE Main, JEE Advanced, JAM, CEED, NEET, JEST, UGC NET, KVPY, and other entrance test. Candidates must go through following details regarding IISc Rank List 2021.
IISc 2021 Rank List
Candidates merit list will be announced on the basis of their performance in the national level entrance examination. Candidates will have to qualify any one of the national level exams: KVPY, JEE Main, NEET, JEE Advanced, GATE, CEED, CAT, GMAT, JAM, CSIR-UGC NET for JRF; or UGC-NET for JRF; or DBT JRF; or ICMR JRF, JEST, NBHM Screening Test & INSPIRE fellows (for Ph.D.).
Once the application will be received, candidates will be placed in merit list as per rank secured in the examination. A separate merit list will be prepared for national level entrance examinations.
Candidates will be called for the interview round on the basis of the merit list. The seats will be given on the basis of the performance in the examination & number of seats available.
Candidates who will qualify the multiple examinations will be included in all the appropriate merit lists. Separate merit lists will be made for the candidates belonging to different reserved categories.
IISC 2021 Cut-off will be released after the result declaration. Cut off marks are the minimum marks candidates have to score to qualify the examination. Candidates will have to score minimum marks at least equal to the cutoff marks or else they will be prohibited from the admission procedure. The cut off will depend upon the no. of candidates, seats availability & difficulty level of exam.
Cut-off will depend on various factors like:
- Difficulty Level of Exam
- Total Number of Seats available
- Total Number of Candidates qualified the exam
- Total Number of candidates appeared in the examination
- Previous Year Cut Off & Admission Trends
- Marking Scheme
- Reservation Rules

IISC Admission 2021
The IISC Admission 2021 will be commenced after few days of result declaration. The admission will be provided in the scientific and technological research fields. It will be offered only to eligible candidates. Candidates will have to report in the allotted institute to confirm their seats within the given time period.
IISC 2021 Counselling will be commenced after result & cut-off declaration. Qualified candidates will be called for counselling process after declaration of result. It will be mandatory for all qualified candidates to participate in the counselling process. Candidates will have to bring important required original & photo stated documents at the time of counselling.
