AP PGECET 2020 Result

AP PGECET Result has been declared on 25th October 2020 on the website. Candidates can check their AP PGECET rank and score as per the marks secured by them. Merit list has been prepared according to the courses offered. The result has been made available through online mode only.

For obtaining a rank in AP PGECET 2020 candidate must secure 25% marks in the examination i.e. 30 marks out of 120 marks. For SC/ST candidates there is no minimum qualifying marks for securing rank.

AP PGECET 2020 Counselling

AP PGECET counselling will be started from January 2021. Candidates can select a college and a course after verifying their certificates through one of the given helpline centres. Counselling will be completed in various steps.

APSCHE will publish notification for the counselling in the newspaper and website and will place the details of counselling indicating dates, ranks of candidates and list of helpline centres. Those candidates who will not verify their certificates will not be eligible for further process.

Candidates can change their options any number of times during the allotted time and can freeze their seat. Candidate’s final allotment of the seat will be placed on the website. Candidates can download allotment order and must report through self-reporting system to the allotted college. These both reporting system are mandatory for the candidates otherwise their candidature will get cancelled.

Candidates should produce the certificates given below:

  • Hall ticket of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET
  • Rank of GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET
  • 10th, 12th, degree/diploma marks memo
  • Study certificate
  • Residence/ Aadhar certificate
  • Transfer certificate
  • Receipt issued from helpline centre at the time of document verification
  • Sports/PH/NCC/CAP certificate (If any)

AP PGECET 2020 Application Form

AP PGECET 2020 application form is available through online mode. Candidates can fill the application form with the help of instructions given below:

  • The application form filling process has been started from 9th March 2020.
  • Candidates need to fill their correct information in the application form like marks secure, Aadhar number and other required details.
  • The application process is continued till 23rd September 2020.
  • Candidates need to fill the application form with the utmost care. In case of any mistake, candidates can correct it when the application window is open.
  • Candidates need to upload photograph and signature at the time of filling application form.
  • Must check the application form before final submission of it.
  • Take printout of the application form and keep it for further process.

Application Fee:

Application fee is Rs. 1000/- for General/OBC candidates and for SC/ST candidates fee is Rs. 500/-.

Candidates can pay their fee online via debit/credit card or net banking. Candidates can also pay fee via offline mode at the AP online centres. Candidates should take the fee receipt from AP online centres.

Eligibility Criteria

AP PGECET Eligibility Criteria is given below for the candidates:

  • Nationality: Candidate must be the resident of India.
  • Domicile: Candidates should have Andhra Pradesh state domicile or should satisfy the local/non-local status requirements as laid down by the respective authority
  • Qualifying Exam: Must have qualified B.Pharma, B.Tech or its equivalent degree from any recognized college or university.
  • Marks Required: Candidates must have minimum 50% marks in their bachelor’s degree and for SC/ST candidate’s minimum 45% marks are required.
  • Score Card: Candidates must have score card of one of these exams i.e. GATE/GPAT/AP PGECET.
  • Fitness: Candidates must be fit in all aspects of fitness.

AP PGECET 2020 Hall Ticket

AP PGECET hall ticket has been released from 23rd September 2020. Candidates can download their admit card from the website. Candidates need to fill their registration number, date of birth and need to choose exam paper for the entrance from the drop-down menu.

In the admit card candidates can get the information regarding their date of exam, centre of exam, time of exam and it also contains the roll number of the candidates.

Candidates must bring their admit card for the examination. Without hall ticket a candidate is not permitted to give exam.

AP PGECET 2020 Exam Pattern

AP PGECET Exam Pattern is given below for the candidates:

  • Exam Mode: Exam will be organized through online mode.
  • Language: Exam will be conducted in English language only.
  • Total Question: There will be total 120 questions in the examination.
  • Type of Question: Question will be asked in multiple choice format.
  • Total Marks: Question paper will be of 120 marks.
  • Marking: One mark will be given for each correct answer. There will be no negative marking for the wrong answers.

Aerospace Engineering:

  • Engineering Mathematics: Linear Algebra, Differential Calculus, Numerical methods.
  • Numerical Methods: Atmosphere, Airplane Performance, Static Stability, Dynamic Stability.
  • Space Dynamics: Determination of Trajectory and Orbital Period in Simple Cases, Orbit Transfer.
  • Aerodynamics: Basic Fluid Mechanics, Air Foils and Wings, Wind Tunnel Testing, Structural Dynamics.

Chemical Engineering:

  • Engineering Mathematics: Differential Equations, Probability and Statistics, Numerical Methods.
