NIFT 2021 Result will be available online in the month of February/ March 2021. National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) is a premier institution of Design, Management, and Technology. This institution organizes a national level examination. It is conducted for providing admissions to various UG & PG courses. NIFT 2021 Result
NIFT 2021 Call Letter for Group Discussion/ Personal Interview rounds (PG courses) will be released on after declaration of result. Candidates will be able to check it through online mode on the website. The authority publishes it in two stages, i.e. for written test & GD/PI rounds.
The result for written test will be declared in February/ March 2021.
On the basis of written test, candidates will be shortlisted and called for situation test/GD/PI round. Candidates will be able to download their call letter for second stages.
After the second test, the final result will be announced announced by the authority in May/ June 2021. Candidates must take a printout copy of both results & save it for the counselling procedure.
NIFT 2021 Cut Off will be released in the month of July or August 2021. Cut off marks will be the minimum rank released by the institutions for providing admission. Candidates will be able to check cut off through online mode.
NIFT 2021 Result Dates
NIFT 2021 exam will be held on 14th February 2021 through offline mode. Candidates will be able to view their written test result which will be declared in the month of February/ March 2021.
After result announcement, selected candidates will have to appear in situation test/ group discussion/ personal interview rounds as per the courses.
The final result for UG & PG courses will be announced in end of May/ June 2021. Candidates will be able to check it only through online mode.

Students must follow below given step by step procedure to check NIFT result:
- Go to the official link. (Link will be given above)
- Click on that link.
- A result page will be opened on the screen.
- Fill any two of the following details, i.e. roll number, date of birth & application number.
- Then, click on “Submit” button.
- The result will appear on the computer screen.
- Check it & download for further process.
- Keep a print copy of it for admission procedure.
NIFT 2021 GD-PI Details
On the basis of result of written test GAT and CAT, shortlisted B.Des candidates will be called for second test called Situation Test. For BF.Tech. candidates, GAT will be the final test for selection.
Candidates for M.Des will take GAT and CAT. On the basis of the result of GAT and CAT, in the case of M.Des. and GAT in the case of M.F.Tech and MFM, candidates will be called for Group Discussion/Personal Interview (GD/PI).
Group Discussion:
Shortlisted candidates for PG courses from the written test will be required to undergo Case Study based Group Discussions (GD) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
GD will comprise approximately 15 to 20 minutes of discussion on a case study assigned, on which a panel of experts will assess the candidates on various parameters including:
- Conceptual clarity.
- Knowledge of the topic assigned.
- Contribution made to the topic.
- Interpersonal skills.
- Ability to generate new ideas.
- Problem solving approach.
- Leadership qualities.
- Effective communication.
Personal Interview:
Candidates will be evaluated on the various parameters as listed below by a panel, in the Personal Interview:
- Career orientation.
- Aptness for the course.
- Overall personal achievements in academics and co-curricular activities.
- Communication.
- General awareness and aptitude, creative and lateral thinking.
NIFT Merit List 2021
After completion of both stages, the authority will prepare a final merit list. NIFT 2021 Merit List will be prepared on the basis of marks secured in Creative Ability Test (CAT), General Ability Test (GAT), Situation Test, Group Discussion, and Personal Interview rounds (as applicable).
The weightage assigned to each test in the final merit list of the examination will be given here:
