Try to solve sample papers as much as you can. This will help in increasing the speed and accuracy to solve questions. Also solve previous year papers which will help in analyzing exam pattern and difficulty level of the exam. Focus more on weak sections.

Upgrade your general awareness:
Candidates are required to be aware of what’s happening around the world and country. Make a habit of reading newspaper daily. Candidates should also read fashion/design related books and magazines.
Concentrate and Apply:
Candidates are required to enhance their creativity skills. While working candidates are required to sit for several hours with 100% concentration.

NIFT 2021 Exam Pattern
NIFT 2021 Exam Pattern comprises of creative ability test (CAT), general ability test (GAT) and situational test (ST). For bachelor in design (B.Des) program candidate need to appear for CAT and GAT exam.
Both exams will be conducted in offline mode. Shortlisted candidates will be eligible to give ST exam. Candidates seeking admission in bachelor of technology will have to appear for GAT exam only.
CAT exam will test candidates sketching, observation, design and innovation skills. GAT exam tests candidate’s knowledge in quantitative aptitude, communication, English comprehension, analytical ability, GK and current affairs.
The exam will be of 100 marks and time duration will be 2 hours. Situational test evaluates candidate’s material handling and innovative ability as per the given material and situation. The exam will be of total 100 marks and time duration will be 3 hours.
