The National Institute of Design (NID) will release NID 2021 Exam Dates through online mode. NID entrance exam is a national level exam. It is organized for admission to the B.Des, GDPD and M.Des programs at NID campuses across India. NID exam will be conducted in two stages, i.e. Preliminary and Mains. After completion of both the exam, the authority will prepare final merit list. Candidates whose name will be in the merit list eligible for admission in NID campuses. NID Exam Schedule 2021

Pre-Examination Schedule:
The NID 2021 Application Form will be available from the month of November 2020. Last date to fill the application form will be till third week of December 2020. The application form will be available through online mode.
The conducting authority will provide facility to review and edit the application form from third week of December 2020.
The exam conducting authority will release the NID admit card 2021 for both prelim and mains exam. Admit card will be made available in the third week of 4th week of December 2020 (DAT prelim).
NID 2021 Exam will be conducted in two stages preliminary and mains. The DAT 2021 prelim exam will be conducted in January 2021. DAT 2021 main exam will be conducted from the last week of April to first week of May 2021.
The university will also release the cut off marks for providing admission in the respective course.
Post-Examination Schedule:
The authority will release the provisional answer key of NID prelim exam for all the set of the question papers. Candidates also have an option to challenge the answer key through online mode.
The final NID answer key for DAT prelim will be released in last week of January 2021.
The NID 2021 Result for prelim exam will be declared in the first week of May 2021 (B.Des & GDPD) and will be declared in the third week of February 2021 for M.Des. The result will be made available in online mode. Based on score obtained in NID prelim separate merit list will be prepared for each category.
Based on the merit list of prelim exam eligible candidates are called for NID DAT 2021 Mains. The final merit list will be prepared category-wise based on sum total of weightage score scored by candidate in prelim and mains exam.
The NID 2021 Counselling is expected to be organised in August 2021. Candidates with their name in the merit list will be called for counseling as per their rank.
The counseling procedure will be conducted in offline mode. Candidates will have to present all specified documents in original and copy for document verification.
