PUCET 2020 Merit List has been released for UG courses. Panjab University, Chandigarh conducts the entrance test of PUCET every year to offer admission into various UG and PG level Programmes. PUCET 2020 Exam has been cancelled for UG courses due to covid-19. Admission will be based on 10+2 exam result.
PUCET 2020 Result will be published on the University website few days after the successful commencement of exams. Candidates will be able to view their result through online mode only as no separate result will be provided to the test takers.
A merit list will be published by the University after the result announcement. Only those candidates will be shortlisted in the merit list who will successfully attain the minimum cut off marks decided by the authority. Shortlisted candidates will be then called for counselling process.

- Visit the official portal of PUCET.
- Click on the link given on the website as Panjab University 2020 Results.
- Now enter your roll number and select combination and submit the details.
- Scorecard of the candidate will appear on the screen.
- Download the result and take the print out of it for further use in admission process.
Details Present in PUCET 2020 Scorecard
The Scorecard of PUCET 2020 will contain the details of the candidate and his/her result of performance shown in the entrance test. Details present in the scorecard will contain:
- Candidate’s Roll Number
- Category of the Candidate
- Candidate’s Registration Number
- Rank of the candidates
- Marks Obtained by candidates
- Status of the candidate (Qualified or Not Qualified)
PUCET 2020 Merit List
PUCET 2020 Merit List will be published by the University for all the Programmes. Candidates will be shortlisted in the merit list on the basis of marks scored by the candidates in the entrance test. Those who will attain the minimum cut off marks (20% for General; 15% for ST/SC/PwD/OBC) will be eligible for counselling.
The final merit list will be prepared by the Institute on consideration of weightage and admission criteria. The list of ‘Qualified’ as well as ‘Not Qualified’ candidates will be released by the University.
PUCET 2020 Counselling
Candidates who will successfully clear the entrance exam with minimum cut off marks will be called for PUCET 2020 counselling round. It is essential for the students to be present at the counselling venue in person with all the required documents.
Necessary documents to be carried by the candidates at the time of counselling are listed below:
- PU- CET 2020 Rank card
- 10th, 12 and Bachelor’s Mark sheet
- 10th, 12th and Bachelor’s Pass Certificate
- Caste certificate
- Transfer certificate from last institute attended
- Migration Certificate
- Medical Certificate
- Character certificate
- Several passport sized photographs
