The seat allocation is based on the merit and candidate’s performance in the entrance exam. After few days of the declaration of result, the university has publish the counselling schedule on its website.
On behalf of the candidates, if candidate’s parents attend the counselling they have to bring the additional documents to attend the counselling. In such cases, admission will be purely provisional and seat allotment letter will be issued only after biometric verification of candidate.
The verification of documents will be done at the time of admission/counselling. If the candidate will fail to produce the original documents then, they will not be considered for the admission.

The university will release the cut-off marks for participating in the counselling. Candidates those who will score the marks higher than the cut-off marks will be invited for the counseling rounds.
The counselling will be conducted through offline mode in which candidates have to present in person at the designated center. The counselling will be conducted in the address given below:

KIITEE Counselling Procedure 2020
The KIITEE counselling procedure 2020 will be comprised of the steps given below.
Choice Filling:
After declaration of merit list, candidates will be called for counselling as per their ranks. A candidate with a higher rank will be given preference in allotting the seats. Candidates have to reach the counselling venue before half an hour of the starting of the counselling. There candidates have to fill the course choice as per the order of their preference.
Document Verification:
Candidates have to verify their original documents. Candidates those who will fail to verify or produce their all said documents will not be allowed for the admission. So, the candidates must present with all required documents on the day of counselling.
Seat Allotment:
After the verification process of the documents, candidate will be allotted the seats. The seats will be allotted on the basis of candidate’s filled choices, availability of seats and rank of the candidate. Candidates can confirm their seats by paying the counselling fee. Counselling will be stopped at any stage as soon as all the seats will be filled completely.
Payment of Fee:
Candidates will have to pay the counselling fee to get admission in the allotted college. Candidates can deposit the fees through demand draft in favor of KIIT payable at Bhubaneswar.
Documents Required for participating in the Counseling:
Candidates should produce following Original Certificates with one set of Xerox Copies on the day of counselling. Original Certificates will be returned after verification and Xerox Copies will be retained by the university for office use.
- KIITEE 2020 admit card.
- KIITEE 2020 rank card.
- 12th mark sheet and passing certificate (Passing Candidates).
- 10th passed certificate/Mark Sheet.
- 12th class admit card (candidates those result is awaited).
- Two colored passport size photograph.
- Category certificate (issued by competent authority).
- Demand Draft of Rs. 75,000 which includes the counselling registration fees of Rs. 10,000 in favour of KIIT, payable at Bhubaneswar. Cash payment will not be accepted.
- Authorization letter from the candidate (In case, counselling attend by parents).
- ID Proof with photograph (In case, counselling attend by parents).
- Certificate mentioning the name of parent attending the counseling (Birth Certificate/10th Pass certificate) (In case, counselling attend by parents).
