SRM University Application Form 2020

- SRM University Application Form 2020 has been released on 12th October 2019.
- Candidates have to fill the application form by offline or online mode. The offline applications can be obtained from the university office.
- Students can apply through single application form for various campuses.
- The application must be submitted before the last date i.e. 31st July 2020.
- Register yourself by filling your E-mail id and other details. Change in e-mail id will not be permitted under any circumstances.

Application Fee:
Candidates are required to pay application form fee which is Rs.1100/.
Mode of Payment: Candidates can pay their fee via debit/credit card or via net banking. For offline mode, the fee can be paid through DD drawn in favour of SRMIST, payable at Chennai.
SRM University Eligibility Criteria 2020
SRM University Admission 2020 Eligibility Criteria for various courses is mentioned below:
General Eligibility:
- Nationality: Applying candidates should be Indian/NRI/PIO or OCI.
- Age Criteria: Candidate applying for UG Courses must have born between 1st July, 1999 and 1st July, 2004.
While for PG Courses, the age must fall between 1st July, 1995 and 1st July, 2000.
For B.Tech Programme:
- Qualifying Examination: Candidates must have passed or appearing for 10+2 examination from a recognized board/university. NIOS are also eligible to apply.
- Subjects: Candidate must have passed 12th level with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects.
- Age: Candidates should have attained the age of 16 on the 31st July 2020. Maximum age limit is 21 years.
For B.Com Programme:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have completed his 10+2 level exams with the main subjects of Accounts or Maths from a recognized board or university.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have passed with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
For M.Com Programme:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have completed any UG degree with the main subjects of Accounts or Maths from a recognized board or university.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have passed with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
For MBA Programme:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have completed his Bachelor’s degree from a recognized board or university.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have passed his qualifying exam with minimum aggregate of 60% marks.
- SRMJEEM: Candidates will be eligible on the basis of SRMJEEM Scores.
SRM University Admission Procedure 2020
The admission into SRM University will be purely based on the scores of the entrance test or national level scores. Candidates have to qualify the test with the minimum qualifying marks to get entry into UG and PG courses.
Candidates applying through state level entrance exam or state level board must obtain rank under top 100 ranks.
For MBA admission, students have to qualify the test of SRMJEEM and then appear and clear the GD & PI Interview rounds. Students appearing under the top 1000 ranks in JEE Main are also eligible for admission into B.Tech programme.
SRM University Entrance Exam 2020
SRM University will conduct its own university level entrance exam for various UG & PG courses. For B.Tech & M.Tech Admission, SRMJEEE will be held in online mode.
For MBA admission, SRMJEEM scores will be considered and for UG & PG medical courses, SRMJEEH test will be held.
It is necessary to score qualifying marks in these tests to be eligible for admission. The SRMJEEE B.Tech. exam has been cancelled due to covid-19.

SRM University Result/Merit List 2020
SRM University will be declare results in August 2020. The University will prepare a merit list based on the total marks secured in the various entrance tests.
Candidates will be informed about the SRM University result /merit list through E-mail or SMS. Candidates must keep their scorecard safely for the further admission procedure.
SRM University Counselling 2020
SRM University Counselling will be start from September 2020. The counselling will be held in two phases i.e. Phase I & Phase II.
To participate in the counselling, candidates need to register online first.
Phase I Counselling:
In Phase I Counselling, candidates have to choose the course and branch for admission. It will be on-campus counselling. Candidates can choose the campus as per their preferences.
Phase II Counselling:
SRM University Phase II Counselling will be processed through online mode. It will be for those candidates who missed Phase I counselling. Candidates need to upload all the required documents online for document verification. The documents to be presented are given below:
