GCET 2020 Merit List is releasing by 10th September 2020. Result has been released on 10th July 2020 through online modes. Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is managed by the Directorate of Technical Education, Goa. It is a state level entrance exam through which the admissions will be offered in the first year of Architecture & Engineering professional courses. GCET examination is conducted one time in a year. The GCET result has been published after a few days of commencement of the exam. Candidates those have appeared in the examination can only check their results. The result will be declared through online modes. There is no scorecard which is released by the DTE for the candidates individually.
Candidates are advised to check all details carefully in the result. In case of any discrepancy candidates can contact to the officials.
The result has been released in the pdf format in which marks obtained by the candidate in each subject and their roll numbers is mentioned. However, candidates can get their individual marks by entering their roll number.
GCET Result Date 2020
The written exam has been conducted on 4th & 5th July 2020. The DTE has announced the results on 10th July 2020. The answer key is also available with the releasing of the result. The counselling process has been started from 29th July 2020.
How to Check Result
Candidates can check their results by following the procedure given below.
- Navigate the official website link (link is given above).
- Open the link and Click on ‘Click Here’ link.
- The result will display in pdf format.
- In result, candidates roll number and marks scored in each subject will be mentioned.
- Candidates can take the printout of the pdf.
- Secure the result which is in pdf format till the admission process.
GCET Merit List 2020
On the basis of candidate’s result, the merit list will be prepared for admission procedure. The rank scored by the candidate will be mentioned on the merit list. Candidates with the higher rank in the merit list will be given preference.
The merit list will be prepared on the basis of result of the numbers of candidates applied. As per the candidates rank in the merit list, they will be called for the counselling process.
GCET Counselling 2020
GCET counselling 2020 has been started from 29th July 2020. The admission form will be made available on the official website. Candidates can fill the admission form as per the course in which they want to get admission.
The counselling process will be followed by the verification of the original documents. Candidates have to visit the helpline centers for certificate verification and registration.
After verifying the documents/certificates, candidates can start the exercising of choice filling for colleges and programs.
Candidates will be intimated about the allotment of seats through an SMS. The seats will be allotted on the basis of ranks of the candidates and availability of seats.
