GUJCET 2020GUJCET 2020 Exam Date has been postponed to 22nd August 2020. Admit Card will be released 10 days before the exam. GUJCET (Gujarat Common Entrance Test) is a state level common entrance test in Gujarat. It is managed by the Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB). Successful candidates after qualifying GUJCET 2020 would be able to get admission in Engineering and Pharmacy courses. The courses will be offered by the government and non-government institutions in Gujarat state. GUJCET 2020 Exam Dates

Gujarat CET 2020 exam dates can be checked in the below given table for various events:

GUJCET 2020 Admit Card

GUJCET Admit Card 2020 will be released ten days before the exam via online mode only. There is no other offline mode to provide the admit card to the candidates. The admit card will be released on 20th July 2020.

GUJCET admit card will contain the important data and details of the candidate for exam purpose only. The admit card will contain the name, date of birth, qualification, paper choice, exam centre and exam date for the candidate.

Candidates must carry the admit card to the examination hall. Without admit card, no one will be permitted to sit in the examination.

GUJCET Exam Pattern

Check the GUJCET exam pattern as following:

  • Mode: The exam will be held via offline mode only.
  • Language: The paper will come in Hindi, English and Gujarati language.
  • Courses: The exam will be held for engineering and pharmacy courses.
  • Duration: The examination will go long to 3 hours duration.
  • Subjects: The questions will come from physics, chemistry and mathematics for engineering courses. The question will come from physics, chemistry and biology for pharmacy courses.
  • Total Question: A total of 120 questions will be asked (40 questions for each subject)
  • Total Marks: The paper will be of 120 marks.
  • Marking Scheme: For the right answer 1 mark will be allotted. While, 0.25 mark will be deducted for the incorrect answer.

GUJCET Syllabus

However, GUJCET is the most sought examination in Gujarat state, but there is not any syllabus prescribed.

For Engineering: The questions are asked from physics, mathematics and chemistry subject.

For Pharmacy: The questions are asked from physics, biology and chemistry/ subject.

The questions will be asked from the 11th & 12th class syllabus of Gujarat State Education Board.

GUJCET Answer Key

GUJCET 2020 Answer key will be released in May 2020. The answer key will be available via online mode only.

The GSEB will release the GUJCET answer key in 2 steps. In step one, GSEB will release the provisional answer key. Candidates would be able to cross check their answers with the provisional answer key.

If they will find any discrepancy, they will submit there objections to the officials. After receiving objections, the board will release the final answer key.

GUJCET 2020 Result

GUJCET Result 2020 will be declared in the May/ June 2020. The result will be available via online on the website only.

Candidates would be able to check their result by entering their application number in login panel. The GUJCET result will be released followed by the GUJCET Merit list.

The merit list will be prepared based on 60% weightage of the percentage of 12th class of Gujarat board and 40% weightage of marks secured in GUJCET 2020 exam.

GUJCET Counselling

GUJCET 2020 counselling will be organized through online mode only. The counselling will be organized by the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC).

Before registering for counselling, candidates have to visit their nearer Kotak Mahindra Bank to get their information booklet and PIN number.

With the help of PIN number candidates will have to register for GUJCET counselling procedure. Candidates would be able to make choices of courses and colleges as per their score, merit and availability of seats.

The allotment will be released by considering all given factors.

GUJCET 2020 Application Form

Here we are providing details about the GUJCET application form 2020:

  • GUJCET 2020 application form has been released on 21st January 2020. The application form has been released via online mode only.
  • Candidates can fill the application form from the website of GSEB (the link is provided above). There will not be any correction facility after the last date of application form. Candidates must fill the application form carefully.
  • Last date to apply is till 19th February 2020.
  • During the application form filling, candidates have to fill all personal, academic, communication and educational details followed by uploading the images.
  • Candidates have to upload the scanned images of photograph and signature in the prescribed format.
  • After filling the application, check properly and submit online only. There is no need to send any hard copy to the officials.

Application Fee:

The application form fee is Rs. 300/- only. Application fee can be remitted online by debit/credit card or net banking. The application fee can also be paid through e-challan/payment slip of SBI bank.

GUJCET Eligibility

Through GUJCET 2020 examination, the candidates can get admission in engineering, pharmacy and some other diploma courses. So, the GUJCET eligibility criteria is different for the different courses.

General Eligibility (Common for all courses):

  • Nationality: The candidate must be the citizen of India only.
  • Residence: The candidate must be a domiciled of Gujarat state.

Eligibility for Engineering:

  • Candidates must be passed 12th class examination from any recognized education board in India.
  • Candidates must have Physics and Mathematics in 12th class.
  • Candidates must secure minimum 45% marks in 12th (40% in case of reserved categories).
  • Appearing candidates can apply.
