Chandigarh University 2020 Application Form

- The Application process of Chandigarh University 2020 has been started.
- The application form has been made available through online as well as offline mode.
- The online application form can be filled & submitted till 29th July 2020 through CUCET – II.
- Candidates have to submit their basic details along with photograph & other required documents during application process.
- Students applying through offline mode are required to purchase application form from the university admission offices by paying a certain amount of application fee.
Application Fee:
The application fee is of Rs. 1000.
Modes of Payment: Application fee can be paid through online mode using Credit Card/ Debit Card/Internet Bank Facility.

Chandigarh University 2020 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates will have to check the eligibility criteria mentioned below for Chandigarh University 2020:
For B.Tech Course:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their 12th level or equivalent exam from any recognized board or university.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have scored minimum of 50% marks for general category & 45% marks for SC/ST in the qualifying examination.
- Qualifying Subjects: Candidates must have passed 12th level with Physics & Chemistry as the mandatory subjects along with any of the subject among Chemistry/Bio-technology/Computer Science/Biology.
- Appearing: Candidates appearing in the final year are also eligible.
For MCA Course:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university or institute.
- Qualifying Marks: Student in the qualifying exam must have passed his degree with at least of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST).
- Qualifying Subjects: Candidate must be passed with the subjects – Mathematics / Statistics / Business Mathematics/ Business Statistics / Quantitative Techniques as one of the main subjects.
For Other UG Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their 12th level or equivalent exam from any recognized board or university.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidates must have secured minimum of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Appearing: Result awaited or appearing candidates are also eligible to apply.
For PG Courses:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their Bachelor’s degree with minimum qualifying marks from any recognized university or institute.
- Appearing: Final year appearing candidates will be also eligible to apply.
Chandigarh University 2020 Admission Procedure
The admission in the Chandigarh University 2020 will be given to the candidates on the basis of performance in the academics/university level test scores/ national level test score.
The University will prepare merit list and conduct admission procedure. Qualified candidates will be successfully shortlisted. The final admission will be offered after the document verification process. Seats will be offered to the students after evaluating various parameters.
Chandigarh University 2020 Entrance Exam (CUET)
Chandigarh University organizes CUET exam in different phases to offer admission to eligible candidates in various UG and PG courses. The entrance test is held through online mode. In CUET exam, there are total of 100 multiple choice questions. Students are provided 120 minutes to solve the paper. Exam is of total 100 marks. Each question carries 1 marks and there is no negative marking.
The test will be having different modules for various courses out of which students will have to choose. For the CUET Phase I the test has already concluded on 1st November – 30th December, 2019. CUET Phase II is organised from 1st January to 30th June, 2020.
Chandigarh University 2020 Merit List
Chandigarh University 2020 Merit List/ Result has been released for CUCET – I through login. It has been released in January 2020 for CUCET- I exam. Candidates will be required to access the merit list as per the course they have opted for the admission.
The list will be made based on candidate’s academic records & national exams. The candidate whose name will appear in the merit list will only be able to participate in the counselling session.
Chandigarh University 2020 Counselling
Chandigarh University 2020 Counselling and Seat Allotment will begin in the month of July 2020. Those Candidates who will be allotted rank in the list successfully will only be eligible for the counselling process.
Candidates will have to download the counselling letter online as it will not be send to any candidate through post. At the time of counselling, candidates will have to verify their original documents required by the University.
Documents to be produced in the counselling session will be:
- Mark sheet of class 10th& 12th.
- Category certificate.
- Counselling call letter.
- Demand Draft of counselling fee.
