The board was founded in the year 1953 in the state of Andhra Pradesh. It is also known as the Directorate of Government Examinations. The main head office of the board is located in the Hyderabad. AP SSC Results 2020
The board will release the result after one month of the completion of the exam. For the year 2020, it will be released through online mode. The students can check their marks by entering their roll number.

AP 10th Class Result Releasing Date
The AP SSC board examination will be conducted from 23rd March to 8th April 2020. After the completion of exam, the board will declare the result. The result will be declared in june 2020.

In 2017, total 7,10,450 students were appeared in the exam along which 96.10% students clear the exam. The overall passing percentage is increasing year by year.
In year 2018, total 6, 13, 370 students has appeared in 10th board examination and 5, 71, 171 students got passed. Passing percentage of boys was 94.41% while girls passing percentage was 94.56%. Girls passing percentage was higher than boys percentage.
In year 2019, 6, 21, 649 have appeared in exam and total passing percentage was 94.88%.
