AP PolyCET 2020AP Polycet 2020 Application Form has been extended till 27th July 2020. The exam will be conducted to offer admission into various polytechnic/diploma courses in the state of Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Polytechnic Common Entrance Test is a state level examination. The exam is conducted every year by the State Board of Technical Education & Training (SBTET), Andhra Pradesh. AP Polycet 2020 Application Form

Candidates should check the AP Polycet 2020 Application Form details given below:

  • AP Polycet application form has been released through online mode.
  • Candidates can start the application form process from 16th March 2020.
  • Candidates have to upload the scanned images of photograph & signature while filling the application form.
  • The application form can be filled & submitted till 27th July 2020.
  • Candidates should take a print copy of completely filled application form for further use.

Application Fee:

  • The fee can be submitted through online mode.
  • The mode of payment will be via Meeseva/payment gateway/net-banking/Help line centre.
  • The fee is INR-400/-.

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must read the AP Polycet eligibility criteria before filling the application form:

  • Nationality: Candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • Domicile: Candidates should have valid domicile (Andhra Pradesh State).
  • Age Limit: There will be no age limit in AP Polycet 2020.
  • Qualification: Candidates will have to be passed SSC or its equivalent examination.
  • Mandatory Subjects: Candidates must get passed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics Subjects.
  • Percentage: Candidates will have to score minimum 35% marks in qualified exam.
  • Appearing candidates will also be eligible.

AP Polycet 2020 Admit card

The AP Polycet admit card can be downloaded through online mode or help centers. Admit card are generated after final submission of application form.

Candidates are advised to enter all the details carefully, select the qualifying exam, enter 10th admit card no., date of birth & passing year of class 10th to download admit card.

It is compulsory to carry the admit card/hall ticket on exam date at exam venue. No candidate will be permitted at examination hall without admit card.

AP Polycet Exam Pattern

Candidates can check the following AP Polycet Exam Pattern:

  • Exam Mode: The exam will be conducted in Offline mode (Pen-paper based).
  • Duration: The exam will get conducted for two hours.
  • Question type: Multiple choice Questions will be asked.
  • No. of Questions: There will be total 120 questions.
  • Negative Marking: There will be no negative marking in AP Polycet 2020.

AP Polycet 2020 Syllabus

The AP Polycet Syllabus includes topics from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. The questions will be asked from class 9th & 10th from Andhra Pradesh (AP) board. It has been prescribed by the State board of technical education & Training.

Some Basic topics from each subject will be:

Physics: Common topics will be units & dimensions, work, power & energy, elements of vectors, kinematics & friction, reflection of light etc.

Chemistry: Common topics will be Atomic structure, chemical bonding, solutions, fuels, acids & basis, environmental chemistry etc.

Mathematics: Common topics will be number system, algebra, trigonometry, sets, mensuration, probability etc.

Preparation Tips

Some AP Polycet preparation tips for exam preparation is given below:

  • Practice more & more so that you get perfect in each topic.
  • Make a time table & allot equal time for each subject.
  • Study your all subjects topic-wise.
  • Study atleast 5-6 hours
  • Take healthy diet & do not stress yourself.
  • There will be no negative marking so attempt all the questions.

AP Polycet 2020 Answer Key

The AP Polycet Answer Key will be released via online mode after successful conduct of examination. Candidates can evaluate their expected scores in exam by checking the answer key.

The answer key will be made available in the month of June 2020. The exam conducting authority will publish the AP Polycet answer key for all sets of the examination.

AP Polycet 2020 Result

Aspirants who will be appearing for Polycet examination can check their AP Polycet result. Aspirants will be able to download the SBTET AP result through online mode. The result will be declared in the month of July 2020.

The marks obtained in the entrance test will be considered for the purpose of assigning rank. Selection of candidates will be made on the basis of same.

After the result announcement candidates will also be able to download & check their OMR sheet on which they have marked the answers.

AP Polycet 2020 Cut-Off

Candidates belonging to general category will have to obtain 36 marks out of 120 marks which are 30% marks in AP Polycet 2020. However, there will be no cut-off for SC/ST categories candidates.

Cut-off will be the minimum marks one will need to qualify for getting passed in the examination. Candidates who will score cut-off marks or greater will only be eligible for counselling/admission procedure.

AP Polycet 2020 Counselling

The admissions into polytechnics will be comprised of AP Polycet Counselling based on two steps, i.e., certificate verification & choice filling.

The certificate verification will be started from the last week of July 2020. Candidates whose certificates will get verified will be eligible for choice filling.

Candidates are advised to fill more than one choice of course/college so that their chances of getting admission get increases. The final seat allotment will be done on the basis of merit list, seats availability & category.

The following documents will be required for counselling:

  • SSC Marksheet & Passing Certificate
  • HSC Marksheet & Passing Certificate
  • Domicile Certificate
  • Passport size photographs
  • Transfer & Category Certificates
