The official answer key will be released by the exam conducting authority. Candidates will also get their response sheet (OMR) through online mode. The institutional answer key will be released by Aakash institution. With the help of answer key candidates must expect the marks which they are going to score in the final result.
The WBJEE 2020 answer key will be released through online mode. First, the WBJEEB publish the provisional answer key and after that final answer key.
Final answer key will be released in Last week of February 2020 on the basis of objection/challenged received by the candidates.

How to Download the Answer key
Follow the steps mentioned below to download the WBJEE answer key 2020.
- Go to the official website (link will be given above).
- Click on the link and open it in new tab.
- The answer key will be displayed on your screen.
- Open the pdf file and download it.
- Take the printout of it and verify your answers.
- Also keep the printout of answer key till the final answer key is released.
How to Challenge Answer Key
The candidates will be provided with the opportunity to send the challenge if they are not satisfied with the published answer key by the officials.
To challenge the official answer key it will be necessary to have valid proof of that particular question which candidate wants to challenge.
Without sending the supporting document along with the challenge it will be considered invalid and gets rejected. After accepting the challenges, the final answer key will be published by the WBJEEB.
Candidates will have to pay the fee to send the challenge to the authority. The answer key challenge will be send to candidates through online mode.
Important Instructions to make Challenge:
- Candidates will have to login by using their application number & password in order to view their OMRs & Responses.
- In case of category-I & category-II questions, the response is shown either as A or B or C or D.
- Unattended question are marked as “-“.
- In case of multiple answers given by the candidate, the response shown as “*”.
- In case of category-III questions, the responses will be shown as “A–D” etc.
- However, if any candidate will be not satisfied with the captured response he/she can claim for review.
- A candidate will be able to review of any number of responses subject wise & question number wise.
- Candidates will have to pay Rs. 500 per response.
- The fee will be non-refundable.
- No claim will be reviewed if the payment not successful.
- The fee will be submitted through credit card, debit card & net banking.
- Scores & ranks will be calculated based on the final reviewed answer keys.

WBJEE 2020 Result
WBJEE Result 2020 will be declared in fourth week of March 2020. Candidates will have to enter the application number and password to check result. The results will be checked through online mode only.
After the declaration of final answer key, the authority will publish the result. Candidates will be able to get their result through login to their account on official website to get their result.
On the basis of final answer key, the authority will release the result. The merit list will also be released in which the names of shortlisted candidates will be included.
WBJEE 2020 Cut Off will be released at the time of publication of result in March 2020. It will be decided by the board as per the result and marking scheme.
WBJEE 2020 Counselling will be started from 1st week of April 2020 via online mode. The counselling process will be divided into various steps such as registration, choice filling, seat allotment, reporting to the allotted colleges, etc.
