MU OET is a university level entrance exam organized to offer admission into various UG and PG level programmes. MU OET 2020 Eligibility Criteria
MU OET 2020 Eligibility Criteria will vary for various programmes. Check below all the eligibility details for various courses:
For B. Tech Programmes:
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level or its equivalent exam from a recognised board or university.
- Qualifying Marks: Applying candidate must have secured minimum of 50% marks taken together in the Physics, Mathematics and any one of the optional subjects.
- Qualifying Subjects: Candidate must have passed his/her 12th level exam with Physics, English and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/ Biology/ Biotechnology or any other technical vocational subject as optional.
For BA (Humanities/ Liberal Arts):
- Qualifying Exam: Candidates must have passed their 10+2 level or its equivalent exam from a recognised board or university.
- Qualifying Marks: Applying candidate must have passed his/her 10+2 exams with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks.
For M.Com Programme:
- Qualifying Exam: Applying candidate must possess Bachelor’s degree in commerce or management from a recognised board or university.
- Qualifying Marks: Candidate must have secured minimum aggregate of 50% marks in the qualifying exam.
For M.Sc (Nursing):
- Qualifying Exam: Candidate must have completed his/her B.Sc/PB B.Sc Nursing from a recognised board or university.
- Qualifying Marks: He/she must have secured aggregate of 55% marks in the qualifying exam.
- Experience: Applying candidate must have one year of working experience.
MU OET 2020 Exam Pattern
MU OET 2020 Exam Pattern will vary for various courses. Candidates must check the complete details of exam pattern before applying for the test:
For B.Tech Programme:
- Exam Mode: The entrance test will be held in Online CBT mode.
- Type of Questions: The question paper will contain multiple choice
- Number of questions: The questions paper will consist of total 200 questions.
- Time Duration: Total time duration to complete the paper will be of 2 hours and 30 minutes.
- Subjects: The exam paper will contain questions from the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and General Aptitude.

- Number of questions: There will be total 60 questions in the paper. 50 questions will be from the discipline selected by the student and 10 questions from engineering mathematics.
- Marking Scheme: 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer, +4 marks will be given for every correct answer.

MU OET 2020 Syllabus
MU OET Syllabus will vary according to the course chosen by the candidates.
For UG Programmes, the syllabus will be from the 10+2 level and for PG programmes the syllabus will be from the respective graduation degree topics. Complete syllabus can be checked by the students online.
MU OET 2020 Preparation Tips
Candidates can prepare for the examination in a convenient way by following the below preparation tips:
- Candidates need to cover the whole syllabus topic wise.

- Give online test on daily basis.

FAQ’s (Frequently Asked Questions)
MU OET 2020 Slot Booking
After the application process is over, candidates have to do their MU OET 2020 Slot Booking. Candidates will be able to book their slots online in the fourth week of March 2020.
To book exam slot, candidates are required to login with their application number and password, fill their slot booking form and confirm after choosing the slot.
MU OET 2020 Admit Card
After the slot booking is successfully done, MU OET 2020 Admit card will be generated. Students will be able to download their admit card after 24 hours of their slot booking.
After downloading the admit card, students have to paste their photograph and sign on it. The admit card will contain necessary details like exam date, time, reporting time, application number, course details, exam day instructions etc.
MU OET 2020 Result
After completion of exam, MU OET 2020 Result will be announced in the fourth week of May 2020. Candidates can online check their score and rank. Rank list will be also released with the declaration of results.
